Hey bro! I loved your video, man. Very clear and concise! I was wondering, how do you laser and rondo a raked ceiling? Raked meaning, you’re keeping the existing pitch, but you need to level off to remove imperfections in the rafters. Not a suspended system
I've never done what you're asking about but intuitively I would think a rotary laser (aka planar laser?) with a 360-degree beam would work. As I understand these devices, they can be allowed to "float" naturally for a flat ceiling, or can be locked at whatever angle you need, so for a pitched ceiling (e.g., cathedral ceiling) the laser should tell you where you need to shim and by how much.
set laser to hit just the bottom of the clip, no green laser card required, use a 2nd and 3rd laser for long runs in large rooms, measuring your 600s at each end, saves measuring clips as you go as the laser casts a line down the run, your 100% right on the small green DeWalt's being the best for small rooms as how versatile they are, i just dont agree that those shitty rondo domestic 16mm battens can be spaced at 1200 center's, I know is in the specs but that shit in flimsy as fuck,
Great vid simple explanation strait to the point
Love your chirpy attitude man!!
