How to wire wrap a Herringbone Wire Wrapped connector bead

How to Create a Herringbone Wire Wrapped Bead @artisticwirebrand and ​⁠‪@beadalon‬
1. I’m using 24 gauge wire & an 8 mm bead
2. cut 20 inches of wire. You’ll want to adjust the length of the wire according to the size of the bead you’re using. If you’re using a larger bead you’ll need more wire. If you’re doing a smaller bead you’ll need less. For a smaller Bead you may need 26 gauge wire.
3. Using round nose pliers for my loop and leave a 3 inch long tail of wire.
4. Holding the loop with your pliers. Wrap 10 coils underneath the loop. Wrap tightly and close together.Snip off the excess wire & pinch closed.
5. Add Bead.
6. You will need the exact same space of length of wire on each side of the bead. Once you have the same amount of space ( top and bottom of bead) wire wrap another loop on the other side of the Bead & wire wrap a coil 10 times.
7. Next take your wire and curve around the bead and wire wrap one coil around the top previous wire wrapping. Bring the wire back and around the other side of the Bead and coil one time around the top of the wire of the previous wire wrapping. Bring the wire back down around the side of the bead again. *you need to go behind the previous wire wrapping. & wire wrap 1 loop around the top of previous wire wrapping. With this technique, you bring the wire always behind the previous wire wrapping around the bead and bring the wire over the top of the wire wrapping on each stem.
8. When you have finished wire wrapping, do one coil around the top of the loop, cut off excess wire, and pinch closed.
