This webinar is very useful for everyone who is involved in the education field including me, an education and teacher training student who will become a teacher in the future. I learned a lot from this webinar. before watching this I only understood a little about students' motivation and engagement, this video reminds me how important they are for students. From this video, I learned about what engagement and motivation are in general and how we apply them to the teaching process, especially in language learning. What are their components, what are the things we should pay attention to about them, what are their principles, and what are the examples of implementing them. this video really gives me a better understanding of how to engage students and keep them motivated during the learning process. thank you so much!
Thank you for this highly informative and helpful webinar. Every presentation slide and discussion were filled with relevant information, explained in great detail. Truly an added value!
It was very useful webinar for all teachers, students and even for any layman. Good job! Thanks a lot for this great tips and arguments! I got a big pleasure! Hello from Ukraine!
I totally agree with most of what you said. But let me give an example of doing an enjoyable job and earning little money. Some people definitely don't mind working earning little money since they do what makes them happy. However, the standard of living is also important to consider. For example, here in Russia, the majority of people are really unhappy and don't seem to be enjoying their job due to the fact that they don't get any credit for their effort. I personally think that a hungry teacher isn't a teacher, a hungry student isn't a student. So we do need a starting point to carry on anyway.
Please! Could you make que webinar about some suggestions or advices for our english classes after lockdown? We have to rethink our classes, I mean, the way we develop our lessons, the relationship with our students at school. Thank you!
I am rewatching this webinar and found it very interesting, so thank you! Is there anywhere that I can get a copy of the handouts that were mentioned? Thanks
We only issue those for people who attended the live session. You can enrol for future live webinars here: www.cambridgeenglish.org/teaching-english/resources-for-teachers/webinars/
Hi there! Thanks for reminding us how important motivation and engagement are! Now I have a question: can I get a certificate of attendance once I've watched the recorded webinar? I never seem to be able to get to the webinar on time and have to watch it later!- Thanks
if you got the webinar's link in your email, you may watch it following that link on the same day (I don't know how long those links remain available) rather than watching the recorded webinar in UA-cam. That way you still get your certificate even if you were not able to join the webinar on time.
Relistening to this session after attending the webinar. Enriching content. Wonderful endeavor!
