  • I used fast motion for some of D26's eating time which is noted in the video with timecodes.
0:11 Dad flies into the nest with a fish
0:26 D26 flies into the nest and knocks Dad off the fish when pouncing on it
0:39 Dad escapes to the safety of the skywalk and wings, likely those of an eaglet, can be seen flapping in the bottom right corner of the screen
0:54 D28 flies into the nest shoving D25 when landing but D26 successfully hangs onto the fish
1:00 D27 flies in to land on the skywalk and Dad flies off to clear the way for D27 to land
1:52 D28 moves to the left front of the nest
2:29 D27 flies down to the nest
2:41 D28 flies off the nest
3:16 D27 flies in and lands on the skywalk
5:13 D27 hops onto the skywalk
6:07 D26 grabs D27's foot and tugs on it
    6:09 D27 breaks free
6:14 D26 grabs D27's foot again, tugs hard on it and hangs on forcing D27 to hop on one foot
6:20 D28 flies down to the nest
    6:22 D27 breaks loose
    6:29 D26 goes after D27
    6:31 D26 grabs D27's foot again
6:35 D27 breaks free and flies off the nest to escape
    6:38 D26 does a head scratch
6:43 D28 hops onto the skywalk
6:49 D27 flies in to land safely above D28 on the skywalk

I would agree that they are all doing wonderfully well. :) However, this is very type of aggression I don't like to see. There is no food or territory at stake so the pointless aggression poses a risk of injury with no benefit. The aggression seems to me to be an act of frustration when D26's excitement levels were high anticipating food.
Birds and other mammals shore the human tendency for the higher brain functions to go on vacation during times of high excitement which often results in in impulsive, reactive, unwise behavior. Unfortunately, unlike humans wild animals don't have the benefit of medical care if they get injured from making poor choices.
I much prefer to see judicious aggression in the eaglets, preferably carried out with lightning speed that minimizes risk of injury.
