As a pedestrian, you're at a big disadvantage compared to vehicles. So you should do what you can to put yourself in the best position to not be run over.

Some are 50 or 60, especially when work is done for the day. 40 zones protect the workers that are at home in bed are retarded and cause people to ignore 40.zonea that are active worksites. I'm of the opinion that road work speed limits should be re-evaluated on an hourly basis while working and removed if safe to do so at the end of the day. This active change to the limits would keep people more aware that people are working because when they see a 40 sign, they'll also almost always see people working.
Road is narrowed, with hazards on both sides, even without workers there the road conditions are poor. Though I do agree they could be maybe 50k/h instead. Also agree about the regional roadworks that are left up for months after work is finished
@@tin2001You do realise that work site speed zones are not just to protect road workers, but because the road conditions are such that higher speeds are not safe. Rough surfaces, loose stones, incomplete asphalting, road deviations are some (I'm sure there are more) reasons for lower speed limits.
Approximately 3.40 to 3.50 as a now retired Interstate truck driver and Pilot car operator ! My question is why on a divided road why was the Truck behind the Pilot vehicle ? The pilot vehicle should have been behind the oversized load Approximately 20 metres to ensure the truck could change lanes safely and Effectively !
Was that the pilot? I assumed it was a road maintenance vehicle with the giant arrow... Line marking or one of those camera vehicles that scan the road for defects. The swerving about seemed dangerous for an oversize to be doing, especially since it seemed to be purely to block traffic (which in itself seemed unnecessary since traffic was flying off in the distance). I guess there's probably more to the story, like they were due to turn off the road or something and needed to slow... But all in all seemed highly unprofessional.

Buys a big piece of crap, can’t drive a big piece of crap. When will people learn to think with their brain instead of their ego?
@14:15, all the sheeples, I'll follow you mate, ok, I dont have a clue what im doin, ok, neither do we, that's why we drive cars
18:30 this is the trippiest-looking road I've ever seen.
Gateway bridge in Bris
26:55 those FJ Cruisers can really handle any road surface
Denis Leary is the perfect soundtrack, one song fits all 👍
Weird total random coincidence, I was just listening to that song a couple of days ago
0:33 raptor driver only off road driving most of them get
He got the parking spot perfectly.
They'll have to put a new sign on trucks. "Keep clear of reversing Truck". and "Keep clear of Truck turning into you", "Keep clear of Truck running red light" and "Keep clear of truck driving head on at you".
1:40 honestly fair play, it's 100. people who mosey onto onramps shouldn't be driving
1:24 Ended too soon. I wanted to see the van try to merge into a 100 zone while doing 40.
5"58 'I'm upset you weren't going fast enough, so I'll stop and have an argument'.
6:46 I reckon that was deliberate. The Ute waited for the DCer to come alongside.
11:42 Gets justifiably upset with the car the pulled out in front, then overtakes DCer over double lines.
14:05 Like cows all headed to the milking shed.
14:36 The same crazy old bat from last week.
16:00 Man there must be some backstory here.
16:40 Both the cops and DCers insurance company are going to love this one.
17:52 That Camry has seen better days I was going to say, what are the odds of the same DCer filming it twice, but then I realised that the clips are bass ackwards, and the DCer has been behind the Camry since the Gateway Bridge.
25:42 'I'd rather die than drop back in-line!'
26:00 When you get so angry at another driver you damage your own car to get them back.
26:55 This explains why the road crews are out _every bloody night_ replacing these posts.
The self entitlement of those doing burnouts in heavy traffic is mind boggling.
CUV’s and small cars turning in front of people, Commodores and Falcons overtaking on emergency lanes and dual cab utes doing some urban off roading, all pretty standard stuff out there on the highways and byways of Melbourne.
Many of these clips have been on previous submissions like the woman to put the plants under the wipers and the idiot at 18:19
She must do that daily, because the previous one, she put them on both sides of the window. Obviously she doesn't like anyone parking OUT FRONT of her house 😊
The woman was in last week's compilation iirc but it was a different clip - date was only last wednesday
I really need to know the context now, can the person who’s car it is please come forward and tell us the story
No the plant lady has simply done this twice. One 2 weeks ago at 09:50 13 March 2024, and this last week at 09:34 20 March 2024. Ol' hag doesn't like people parking there.
@@PowerHouseJosh
They probably don't know. I'm guessing it's outside her house and she doesn't like people parking in HER space.
It's also possible both cars were parked illegally (or is it the same car twice?) and blocking their driveway, but the plants thing is a weird way to send a message. You'd think just taking photos and asking the council to fix it would work better. And if the council won't sort it, hire a tow truck.
29:30 Stupidity everywhere. Sure, two knuckleheads were fighting in the middle of road. But the white van had heaps of time to make that situation safe. That was a lethal speed to go past a situation like that.
27:10 a modern car with all the cameras and sensors you could possibly need, (and maybe even an automated parking feature) and they STILL fusk it up?!
nepotistic degenerates, there's no way they acquired that money through their own cognition..
What’s the deal with everyone wanting to back into parks these days anyways? 🤷🏻♂️
I am now definitely convinced people drive with their eyes closed
I'm beginning to think some have left their brains at home
everytime i watch these videos, it never ceases to amaze me how there's a shit ton of drivers who are just idiots. ones who either don't understand the law, or don't understand common sense
they know what they're doing, they aren't idiots they're degenerates
Or don't care for anyone but themselves.
@14:05 The blind leading the blind, leading the blind, leading the blind.
@1:30 I can understand the Holden's frustration. Use a merge ramp to get up to the speed of the road you're about to merge onto. The amount of people who go at 40km/h trying to merge into a 100km/h zone is bloody ridiculous, and dangerous.
merging onto a freeway and not accelerating up to the speed of the freeway is crazy. if you're not comfortable using freeways , stick to the roads.
21:08 Probably looking right not left for pedestrians. You can forgive someone who says sorry.
22:20 Must be on drugs. That roundabout in Balwyn is a high-risk place any day of the week, nevermind running a red light driving on the wrong side of the road.
22:32 There's two dirtbike riders out together in that clip. One nearly gets taken out, the other has no headlight. Hopefully lesson learned.
You can forgive anyone that doesn't say sorry too.
Growing up, I was taught, when crossing at an intersection, to walk behind the first car, because the driver WOULD be focusing on the oncoming traffic. I know it's not a rule but pedestrians also need to be aware of surroundings. That's if there wasn't a pedestrian walk and depending on amount of traffic.
Pedestrian was required to give way.
try again. Cammer was making a turn at intersection. Car is required to give way to pedestrians, despite what car drivers believe, in ALMOST every case, The car gives way.@@fknid

7:47 unexpected wholesome
That woman on the footpath @ last clip was not having any of it 😂
5:14. That looks like a construction zone, likely covered by a 40km/h speed limit. Why are you going faster than 40?
Some are 50 or 60, especially when work is done for the day. 40 zones protect the workers that are at home in bed are retarded and cause people to ignore 40.zonea that are active worksites.
I'm of the opinion that road work speed limits should be re-evaluated on an hourly basis while working and removed if safe to do so at the end of the day. This active change to the limits would keep people more aware that people are working because when they see a 40 sign, they'll also almost always see people working.
@@tin2001I'm with you there, out on the backroads ,the 40kph signs are up 24 hrs for months on end while the fuckwit workers are home asleep
12:15 great work from the cammer, avoiding that head-on.

Approximately 3.40 to 3.50 as a now retired
Interstate truck driver and
Pilot car operator !
My question is why on a divided road why was the
Truck behind the Pilot vehicle ? The pilot vehicle should have been behind the oversized load Approximately 20 metres to ensure the truck could change lanes safely and
Effectively !
3:40* 3:50* and punctuation goes immediately after the word, and you never use double spaces. Just sayin'.
@@Jonesy1701 There's a lot more wrong with his post. The main issue is, he seems to have copy/pasted from a Word document! As breaking sentences like this and then capitalizing the next word (continuation) in a new line, would be mind boggling.

Domestic maybe? Looks like he knew where to pull up and spot a car that's not visible from the DC till it moves out, so chances are he's got a tracker on it. Noting the driver of the dark SUV seems to take thier time, slowing down the Ute driver from chasing.
@@PiDsPagePrototypes
I thought maybe it was a stolen car being searched for by the owner, but your one sounds more likely.
Wouldn't need a tracker either. Most people are habitual when it comes to shopping. Probably knew they'd be at those shops at that time of day.
