    I would like to know if you have information about a type of stroke that would cause an uncontrollable movement disorder? I have a 5 mm x 6 mm non-enhancing lesion next to the entrance to the pituitary stalk, and adjacent to the optic chiasm and right optic nerve. It began with a visual disturbance of seeing bright dots of colorful light, and rapid shaking began in my left hand, but rapidly moved throughout my body. I found a medical illustration that shows the Arcuate nucleus is close to the entrance. A medical doctor wrote about Dopamine Functions and she said, “Too much Dopamine in the brain causes repetitive tic like movements. No other doctor has ever been able to explain it to me.

    My 82 year old mother recently suffered a TIA ,but for the last 18 months - 2 years has been suffering short term memory loss.
    Is it possible she has suffered other TIA s before without her noticing in her sleep for example and caused some damage ?
    The recent TIA luckily I was here to notice her speech went awry and called the ambulance but usually she lives alone.

    I had a Ischemic stroke two weeks ago. My mouth on the right side, and my right hand is numb. It burns so bad I feel like I will loose my mind. Is there anything can be done to stop the pain? Dr said it might go away, and it might never go away. It is destroying my durability. I have had two major surgery’s on my stomach, the pain didn’t make me feel like I’m going to loose my fight like this. It burns so very bad! Help me ,please!

      My husband had a stroke, and was having disappointing recovery. I was able to research brain plasticity and so many topics on this site, and I desperately wanted to find something he could use to stimulate the neurons in the brain, but he couldn't use so many of the things, because of a brain stent. he still was having problem with drop foot and kept falling, but from all the research I did, i found a comment of a stroke patient testifying of how Dr IFA helped her recover from stroke completely, after disability of 2 years. With his roots and herbs healing power. So i also contacted Dr IFA via email address, and he gave us some instructions and also courier some roots and herbs (herbal medicine) via TRANSWORLD COURIER COMPANY. With a manual for assumption, which we followed accordingly. And today is the 9th day of assumption. And my husband is already walking. Please let's help anyone around us, going through this suffering. You can also contact Dr IFA via email address:DRIFAHOME@GMAIL.COM Regards.

    • @creaturec

      This is not accurate. The brain may not repair itself, but you can re-create and reactivate through rehabilitation and training. Some times it is not possible, some times it is.

      I had a stroke Aug 18th 2017 I can tell you this each person is different but the brain is amazing it can heal itself with re training and I know this because I worked very hard from not being able to walk or talk to walking with a alker and definitely can talk. - stress or fatigue and anything can mimic the original stroke not necessarily being a TIA - just to let you know - there is hope for recovery

      Brain tumors, can cause some stroke symptoms.... however they normally don't lead to strokes...
      The 3 types of stroke are in this video explanation.

    im 51 seconds in.. you just insinuated that blood vessels "provide oxygen to the brain". Yet blood vessels only carry de-oxygenated blood back to the right atrium which then valves the blood into the right ventricle, which pumps the blood up the pulmonary trunk into the pulmonary capillaries where they are oxygenated by the process of diffusion which also releases excess carbon dioxide from the blood. I can't take anything you said as fact in this video because of your misunderstanding of simple circulatory anatomy.

    • @adrianag5947
      @adrianag5947 3 роки тому

      I think blood vessel is a generic term that can be used to refer to both arteries AND veins, whichever is appropriate at the time. Obviously the exchange of oxygen and other materials occurs in the capillaries, but I think this video is going for more of a "big picture" :)
