What I don't understand is why Turkish people feel "offended" with a song like this? I mean it forms part of our history. We are talking about 500 years of slavery and butchery. That was a very long time ago. Today, luckily Bulgaria and Turkey are good neighbours and you know it quite well. And besides the owner of this channel is apparently Norwegian. I think he perhaps has a passion for patriotic Balkan songs.
It’s probably because most Turkish people deny the bad parts of their history or at the very least, heavily downplay it.
I doubt they are offended by the song itself. But ingen (literal admitted ch1ld l0v3r) displays a clear distaste for turks as a whole. Him putting up an april fools video with a turkish cover and then switching it to a greek song, 666 sub video being turkish and multiple anti ottoman songs on the channel, i also believe he posted an anti turkish song by YPJ, a matter that should be left alone by foreigners. There wouldnt be an issue if he also posted our songs to show his objectiveness, we wouldnt mind it then. To back my arguement, there is another channel similar to this (danjori if im not wrong), he posts every anthem he finds (armenian songs or kurdish militant songs), he also posts turkish songs, which shows his objective stance, which makes turkish viewers at least tolerate "hostile" -for the lack of a better word- songs.

@@pixel8397 usually its people in relatively better off countries find a target to make themselves feel better by joining a "cause". No research on the subject is needed to hate usually, no understanding of the history or the life back then. In his case, its the turks, not the ottomans but turks. Although it stems from the european idea of viewing turks even before ottomans as a bunch of genocidal monsters that crave blood, it still holds strong. A perfect way to see this would be reading history through both turkish and european accounts and look at the wars and battles, how the casualties and tactics are presented, some battles that ottomans lose have more casualties than the entire army that was fighting itself. In one case about the seljuks, it was bigger than the damn population.
What im getting at is that he wants to have a group to join and turks are the best to hate on with plenty of resources. And if a turk disagrees with him, he can simply call it propaganda, while he will believe that one man without arms held against 50k ottoman troops without any weapons.
At the end, we dont stone kurds and armenians here, plenty of people dislike the idea of war and want to be friendly towards other countries. Relationships with armenia is being restored slowly, greeks are considered friends and majority in this part of the world (balkans, caucasus and middle east) gives no shits about war. Everyone is tired and poor, last thing they need is to fight.
But still, we are the boogeyman of somehow the entire world

The bitter truth is that if it weren't the Turkish, the Balkans today could've been a much more prosperous part of Europe. So much torture, killing, rapes, slavery for centuries.
