- With our Covenant Recaps finished, we've turned to a new mini-series focusing on the many iconic Azerothian characters that now dwell in the Shadowlands!
We started the series with the notorious Necromancer and Arch-Lich, Kel'thuzad, and continue this week with everyone’s favorite Highlord: Bolvar Fordragon!

This was so visually well done! And I'm impressed that you got the lore from "We Ride Forth" into the video as well! Loved it.
The script would’ve been within our usual time limit had it not been for that short story. But I felt the lore there was key to explaining why Bolvar got his ass handed to him so quickly, well as giving a longer term reasoning for creating the Four Horsemen!

Our recent videos have given us the ability to cover shorter lore topics while still making detailed lore video so we’re releasing content much faster so we’re gonna try to keep this momentum!

What character in the Shadowlands (from Azeroth) would you like to see next?

I would LOVE to see Cairne make an appearance later in Shadowlands! At least at BlizzCon 2019, the original plan was that Baine’s arc in Shadowlands was related to his people (and Cairne!)
We’re only in one patch so I think it’s still possible!

Where do you think they did Bolvar dirty?
In his fight against Sylvanas? Or just leaving him out of the story from Wrath through till Legion?
I find Bolvar's absence was the worst part of his story but his role as LK and now in SL is one I'm quite fascinated behind. I was a little cheesed he was so easily beaten but I think it's important that he wasn't weak - Sylvanas was just over powered by Zovaal.

For the shadowlands episodes like the covenant recaps and KT/Bolvar, we wanted to tell the story as if one of the Attendants of Oribos was telling the story!
The male attendant next to the big Lady attendant at the table (where Bolvar is in Oribos) was the inspiration for this voice!
Hence the deep, echoey reverb! Hope it’s not too obnoxious!
More respectful towards the character than the actual ingame writing.
