Sadistic? Destoroyah just took out the weaker support monster (Godzilla Jr) before moving on to the boss (Godzilla), like many JRPG players. Destoroyah is a creature that came into existence into a world constantly trying to kill it, and responded by evolving rapidly. Its a 90s monster without psychic powers or magic so still mostly an animal and neutral, just incredibly dangerous. Its first kill was even likely done out of fear, when a guard startled it with a flashlight, as it left the corpse alone instead of feeding.

High time for this absolute chad to make his Hollywood (Legendary) debut. But not until after a third Godzilla movie at least : the Destroyer should be an endgame boss that requires the combined efforts of the reborn Mothra, Zilla, Kong, and the humans to destroy. Imagine if the current Godzilla self-sacrifices to destroy Destroyer, and leaves behind an egg, which the new queen Mothra must raise into the new king of the monsters.
Imagine this: Godzilla 2014's end credit scene is the military creating the Oxygen Destroyer, but one of the scientists says they have no idea how it could effect the environment. Kong Skull Island: the end credit scene is several microscopic creatures floating deep, deep underwater. Godzilla King of the Monsters: these microscopic creatures are now active, eating fish and merging together. Godzilla vs Kong: a small, dead Titan washes ashore on a coastal town. A few seconds of eerie silence followed by a fleshy tendril shooting out of the water, impaling the Titan and quickly consuming its organic material. The next movie: there are now humanoid crab-like creatures attacking small towns and tribes in several countries, feasting on more flesh. The next movie: the creatures are now threatening larger cities, and a massive silhouetted entity rises out of the waters around Tokyo, where it cuts to black and a high pitched screech is heard followed by a man saying, "Abandon all hope, for the end is nigh."
If we ever get him in the Monsterverse, I hope Legendary doesn't shy away from the carnage his Juvenile forms killed a bunch of people face to face. Not like other Monsters who did it out of collateral damage, I mean purposely killed them

I always find it funny that King Ghidorah is considered Godzilla’s rival. But Destoroyah? Another level. Ghidorah might be the Red Skull to Godzilla’s Captain America, but Destoroyah is the Thanos of the Monsterverse. I know people don’t want him to come back since he’s a super special monster but the redesigns for his monster are just too badass to ignore
Thing is, Ghidorah IS Godzilla's rival for the most part in their movie history together. Ghidorah is the iconic rival to Godzilla, competing for the alpha spot, being more or less equals. Destroyah is not Godzilla's rival, but his nemesis. Destroyah is not after the position of alpha, or to best Godzilla in any way, Destroyah lives solely as the agent to Godzilla's destruction, that is it's only purpose. I do hope they bring him into a future finale movie, and do him justice.

I can imagine a scene where Destroyah was uncovered and the crustaceans infiltrate their facility and kill everyone off one by one, and when there’s no response from this facility they send more troops to find noting but bones, and then a flood of the crustaceans attacks before forming one of the bigger crustacean forms
The best idea I could come up with is making Destoroyah something almost out of a horror movie and push the PG-13 rating to the absolute limit bordering on R

Interesting fact is not long before making Godzilla vs Destroyah they was planning to make movie called Godzilla vs Satan but decided not to risk provoking religious fanatics and just reused some of the concepts to make Destroyah so he is in fact the devil of monsters

I recently thought up a post credits scene of the next MonsterVerse movie, Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire. It starts out with the remnants of Isla de Mara, the ocean where the Oxygen Destroyer was detonated in Godzilla: King of the Monsters. As the music slowly gets suspenseful the camera pans down towards the depths of the Isla de Mara's sea where we can see the skeletal remains of multiple fish lying around. We hear ominous rumbling emitted by… something… *THEN TWO GIANT YELLOW EYES OPEN UP.* The camera smash cuts to black… *THEN WE HEAR DESTOROYAH’S UNGODLY ROAR.*

Imagine the series going full circle and having Destroyah be the one to send humanity back to the Stone Age as a reference to that one line from the Godzilla 2014 trailer.
The more I think about it, the more I realize that Destoroyah is to Godzilla what Cell is to Goku. Not just because of the insectoid/crustacean thing or the evolution thing, but the way that he functions as a villain. Burning Godzilla, as we have seen in the Monsterverse films, is a form strong enough to defeat King Ghidorah, an enemy normal Godzilla struggled with, with total ease. Super Saiyan is a form that was strong enough to defeat Frieza at 100% of his power, an opponent who Goku struggled with at just 40%, with total ease. Destoroyah is able to combat with Burning Godzilla on equal footing. Cell is able to combat Super Saiyan Goku on equal footing. Destoroyah kills Godzilla despite losing in the end. Cell kills Goku despite losing in the end. Godzilla Jr nearly dies from Destoroyah, but is rejuvenated by the death of his father. Gohan was going to be killed by Cell's self destruction, but Goku's death saved him and his death caused Gohan to grow as a better person.

In 2019 an Oxygen Destroying Bomb was dropped to finish off Godzilla and King Ghidorah in a battle in the Ocean... but no one expected it would result in another very dangerous creature. Almost 10 years have passed and a small Mutant Crustacean has begun to evolve and humanity's worst nightmare begins!
Imagine these post credit scenes: Godzilla 2014: a frosty chamber with multiple rooms was discovered in the cold deserts of Siberia. And at the final room....monarch found an out ancient inactive crustacean. They decided to take it with them. Kong skull island: monarch discovered this "crustacean" has the ability to evolve and adapt to it's enemies. It also has a secret endo and exo skeleton. Making it seemingly invincible. But it's time of containment was not to last. Godzilla king of the monsters: the creatures been dormant since they discovered it back in 2014. Soon enough the crustacean now known as "destoroyah" was still resting. But monarch didn't know what's to come from destoroyah. Godzilla vs kong: since mechagodzilla was destroyed...ghidorah's soul was looking for a new host. That was when it found destoroyah in a facility. And when he possessed it. It become active and evolved for the first time. Into a juvenile form. Godzilla & kong: the escape of destoroyah (now possessed by ghidorah) was quick and destructive. With it travelling to the Pacific ocean for flesh and energy. Monarch had to contain destoroyah again before it's too late. Rebirth of mothra: a small dead genitor washed ashore in isla de marah. It started with plain silence and then a giant red tail emerged from the water. Empaling. The small titan. Monarch was horrified by it's remains. Son of Kong: a chaotic rumbling was heard in south america as the destoroyah (now in it's aggregate form) emerged from the ocean. As it destroyed the city. Apex extracted some of destoroyah's DNA. Realizing any kind of it's DNA can create another destoroyah (kinda like starfish.) Gamera: a flock of gyaos were migrating through the atlantic ocean on the way to north africa. But then.....destoroyah grabbed a baby gyaos from a female gyaos and dragged it into the ocean. Leaving the ocean turn blood red because of the baby gyaos's blood. Kong: the 8th wonder of the world: giant beams of micro oxygen fell from the skies of london as destoroyah (now in it's flying form) came from the sky. And it literally left it in shambles. (Kinda like the song "london bridge is falling down".) Godzilla vs biolantate: purple lightning bolts hit asia as a climpse of destoroyah's flying firm's silhouette was breafly seen from the residents of asia. Luckily they evacuated just before destoroyah attacked the city. Godzilla & kong & gamera: as mothra leo travelled to atop another monster from destroying the city. Destoroyah attempted sneak attacking him. But it retaliated. And killed him instantly. Leaving it to fall in the ocean. Godzilla vs space Godzilla: years after destoroyah death. Truck loads of radiation fell in the ocean. Which was able to resurrect destoroyah and transform him one more time. It was time.....to Destroy, All, Monsters. (Cue custom destoroyah roar by lillium music)
Mate I bet if Destroyah does exist in a godzilla or kong movie there's gonna be horror elements with his theme and when he appears on screen at all, like imagine kong trying to run from Destroyah hide and this theme comes on 😰☠

Destroyah is the best way to elevate the movies, give it a real horror atmosphere starting with Miniature Destroyah cells eating and melding with human bodies, as Godzilla watches a pile of flesh form into Stage 5 Destroyah, but he then shows to be intimidated for the first time

Only after reading these comments and doing research do I realize why the Oxygen Destroyer being used in the Monsterverse is a crazy thing. It helps create something truly evil.
Destroyah is bigger than Godzilla and can certainly kill him. After Godzilla vs Kong I'd like to see the next movie with Destroyah kicking Godzilla's butt. Heck, maybe even kill him and Godzilla has to be reborn or something.

The more I think about it, the more I realize that Destoroyah is to Godzilla what Cell is to Goku. Not just because of the insectoid/crustacean thing or the evolution thing, but the way that he functions as a villain. Burning Godzilla, as we have seen in the Monsterverse films, is a form strong enough to defeat King Ghidorah, an enemy normal Godzilla struggled with, with total ease. Super Saiyan is a form that was strong enough to defeat Frieza at 100% of his power, an opponent who Goku struggled with at just 40%, with total ease. Destoroyah is able to combat with Burning Godzilla on equal footing. Cell is able to combat Super Saiyan Goku on equal footing. Destoroyah kills Godzilla despite losing in the end. Cell kills Goku despite losing in the end. Godzilla Jr nearly dies from Destoroyah, but is rejuvenated by the death of his father. Gohan was going to be killed by Cell's self destruction, but Goku's death saved him and his death caused Gohan to grow as a better person.
We knew the world would not be the same...few people...laughed...few people cried...most people were silent. I remember, a line from the Hindu scripture The Bagavad Ghita. Vishnu is trying to persuade the prince that... that he should do his duty, and to impress him, takes on a multi-arm form, and says..."Now I am become death, the destroyer of worlds... Imagine these post credit scenes:
Godzilla 2014: a frosty chamber with multiple rooms was discovered in the cold deserts of Siberia. And at the final room....monarch found an out ancient inactive crustacean. They decided to take it with them.
Kong skull island: monarch discovered this "crustacean" has the ability to evolve and adapt to it's enemies. It also has a secret endo and exo skeleton. Making it seemingly invincible. But it's time of containment was not to last.
Godzilla king of the monsters: the creatures been dormant since they discovered it back in 2014. Soon enough the crustacean now known as "destoroyah" was still resting. But monarch didn't know what's to come from destoroyah.
Godzilla vs kong: since mechagodzilla was destroyed...ghidorah's soul was looking for a new host. That was when it found destoroyah in a facility. And when he possessed it. It become active and evolved for the first time. Into a juvenile form.
Godzilla & kong: the escape of destoroyah (now possessed by ghidorah) was quick and destructive. With it travelling to the Pacific ocean for flesh and energy. Monarch had to contain destoroyah again before it's too late.
Rebirth of mothra: a small dead genitor washed ashore in isla de marah. It started with plain silence and then a giant red tail emerged from the water. Empaling. The small titan. Monarch was horrified by it's remains.
Son of Kong: a chaotic rumbling was heard in south america as the destoroyah (now in it's aggregate form) emerged from the ocean. As it destroyed the city. Apex extracted some of destoroyah's DNA. Realizing any kind of it's DNA can create another destoroyah (kinda like starfish.)
Gamera: a flock of gyaos were migrating through the atlantic ocean on the way to north africa. But then.....destoroyah grabbed a baby gyaos from a female gyaos and dragged it into the ocean. Leaving the ocean turn blood red because of the baby gyaos's blood.
Kong: the 8th wonder of the world: giant beams of micro oxygen fell from the skies of london as destoroyah (now in it's flying form) came from the sky. And it literally left it in shambles. (Kinda like the song "london bridge is falling down".)
Godzilla vs biolantate: purple lightning bolts hit asia as a climpse of destoroyah's flying firm's silhouette was breafly seen from the residents of asia. Luckily they evacuated just before destoroyah attacked the city.
Godzilla & kong & gamera: as mothra leo travelled to atop another monster from destroying the city. Destoroyah attempted sneak attacking him. But it retaliated. And killed him instantly. Leaving it to fall in the ocean.
Godzilla vs space Godzilla: years after destoroyah death. Truck loads of radiation fell in the ocean. Which was able to resurrect destoroyah and transform him one more time.
It was time.....to Destroy, All, Monsters.

Destroyah is the best way to elevate the movies, give it a real horror atmosphere starting with Miniature Destroyah cells eating and melding with human bodies, as Godzilla watches a pile of flesh form into Stage 5 Destroyah, but he then shows to be intimidated for the first time

Destroyah is bigger than Godzilla and can certainly kill him. After Godzilla vs Kong I'd like to see the next movie with Destroyah kicking Godzilla's butt. Heck, maybe even kill him and Godzilla has to be reborn or something.
