Hi Lindsay, I am just wondering if do you also include personal items you own that you sold when you file your taxes? I have stuff I sold on poshmark and im not sure if i should include them. Thank you!
I have all of my return receipts in the same expenses baggies! I track them on my spreadsheet. For online sourcing I print the invoices I get through email!
ahh your so organized. my receipts are half lost and half stuffed somehwere but I hardly sold last year. I am starting strong this year and going to organize like you are
Yes there is nothing like being organized with your inventory. I dabble with my excel sheet and although it is a pain in the butt if I get behind LOL. I keep a list of everything. Item numbers, descriptions, colors, sizes, what I paid selling price etc.
The 16 items I found at the end of the video weren’t! That may have been because I forgot to import them from poshmark to Vendoo. Now I write all my listings on vendoo, so I won’t have to worry about that anymore 🙌
All good idea's. So, what about Shopify? I've seen it and heard about it but haven't made the leap to it. I have a square set up that I can turn into an online shop but just haven't done that one yet either haha.
I want to use Shopify to connect to my instagram and youtube channel! I talk more deets in this video if you want to check it out! ua-cam.com/video/Q5x4U2ta0Ww/v-deo.html
How do you zero out inventory when you keep an item? Do you pay yourself back the exact cost of the item or do you pay yourself back like you sold it? Or do you claim it as loss?
I used to when I was just a teacher. I started having someone else do my taxes when reselling began a side hustle. And, so I’m just kept my accountant! 🙂

I'm getting mixed answers. I want to start selling. Can I pay yearly rather than quarterly?
I pay my income taxes yearly and sales taxes quarterly!

When you buy inventory, do you include taxes and shipping in the cost of goods of each item?
Yes, for both! I always add in any tax and shipping costs I may have!
Nice video! I’m just wondering but what do you do with refund/return receipts? And if you do online sourcing, how do get physical receipts?
I have all of my return receipts in the same expenses baggies! I track them on my spreadsheet. For online sourcing I print the invoices I get through email!
Where do you get your clear poly bags from, or how thick are your clear poly bags ? :)
Here is the link to the polymailers I use! I love them! 💕 amzn.to/3EmjNlh
Love how organized you are! The labels feature is so cool for relisting too!

@@LindsayNicolepm sweet thanks.

What was the reasoning for avoiding the cash method of accounting. As a reseller I find it a lot easier.
Do you do your own taxes?
I used to when I was just a teacher. I started having someone else do my taxes when reselling began a side hustle. And, so I’m just kept my accountant! 🙂
Have you filed ? I am almost done ✅ ha
Thats awesome!
