- hey guys so recently I got a set of 18x10.5+15 Volk Racing TE37s with 275x35x18 tyres and I've been getting some scrubbing.
I'm hoping after a fresh wheel alignment that this issue will be sorted but thought a quick drive on some bumpy twisty roads would help find out

The wheels with 275 tyres look so good though. I think a slight raise is a better compromise as it won't take much
Yeah I agree but I'll likely go to a 265 semi slick next anyway for the price I can get them

I have 265s on mine with no issues you should be fine. Man i do gotta say ive never been much of an MR guy but your car looks and sounds amazing
Yeah I think I'll also get used to it having the occasional scrub on bumpy roads when driving fast and it is a fair trade off.

I think that the 275s on the car look really good and I hope that lifting it a little resolves the issue. It could also be that other people are running on a stiffer suspension at the same ride height. I have a set of 18x9.5 +15 wheels on mine but only run 245s because I am just on lowering springs though I'd like to transition to coils at one point as I also have a set of 18X10.5 +15 TE37V Mk.IIs that I would love to run on the car but I didn't like how they looked with 245s stretched on them. I cant wait to hear if lifting the car up a bit solves the scrubbing.
Yeah they really do give a beefy look and I'm hoping a 265 semi slick will give similar appearance as I've found the next tyres I'll run in that size for a good price.
Yeah I think 245 would be too stretched so if you get Coils and 265X35X18 tyres you'll be good as long as you aren't too low as I think a slight raise will fix my issues

Nah that would be way too stretched on a 10.5 wheel. I think a 265 and maybe 0.5mm raised could do it
Yeah raise it a mm or two and youll be golden
