Same thing works with skewer and sing. Absolutely hilarious because skewer does so much damage and the zoom in just adds salt to the wound

@@AmandaLorenaa Yeah I do believe it should be able to work with sing. Maybe also something with Kazuya side B + trip and then sing repeat. Would be funny
The DK running away from Electrode after he instantly noticed he fucked up is my favorite thing in this episode

@@rhombicdodecahedron1665 no but I did lab the combo in training mode and then went online and tried to hit it and eventually hit it so it wasn’t something I came up with on the spot but it was just a random elite smash player I did it to
14:24 This combo works because the jab forces the bowser to stay still and I think that's one of the hardest reads I've ever gotten to work😎

vyq'a twitter segment is always fun to watch, especially the new names that the beefy smash doods come up with every week.

the last clip this time was probalby one of the better ones. i rewatched it a few times just to see exactly what happened.

The last clip actually sounds like an interesting game - look at wonky final sparks and guess the events leading up to it.
Definitely +1 to the "Guess the Final Spark" challenge.
With the PK thunder kill combo clip, the side they get sent to depends on which side of their body Ness is above when the hitbox appears. PK Thunder almost always sends in the direction it's coming *from*, laterally, so their footstooled animation will also factor into what side he's on when he cancels the jump into up B.
Idea: Do an episode where you have to guess what happened based only on a picture of the final spark

1:30 The beginning of an airdodge has a very fast speed the opposite direction for a brief moment I believe. Maybe the cape messed with that.

1:29 when you air dodge your character moves backwards and then forwards, so I would guess that the cape flung captain falcon really far backwards before he could begin moving forwards and left him in that state for some weird glitchy

I'm gonna be completely honest, I really miss the old format of it just being clips. The Twitter section means that vyq already saw it, so not as much of a genuine reaction from him. On top of that they take up about 2/3 of the video which kinda just feels like a big "go away" to people who submit clips. They can't possibly *all* be bad, right?
That's just my personal opinion though. It's kinda demotivating to submit clips if you know there's even less of a chance of them getting in now.

Yeah I agree. I feel like the VyQ picks take over most of the video, which literally defeats the purpose for people to "send your clips." I would want it to be just the viewers' clips than just other clips VyQ already saw and only getting cFive's reaction.

And the trip at the end is the main reason this is hard, rng is dumb lol

Oh wow! I'd heard of a similar thing with Skewer but this, from the brief moment I watched before deciding I knew all I needed to, seems SO MUCH EASIER because it isn't so position-dependent LOL

I wouldn’t mind seeing more clips from professional tournaments. Not sure if you guys watch them but would be nice to see some. I know this series is mainly for cool plays and glitches but maybe in vik’s segment you can slide in some tournament clips. I think there’s been a couple in the recent ones.

I love you guys but tbh I almost don’t want to submit stuff because it’ll be either met with “oh he could have techd “ or “oh but it wasn’t true” and it nullifies any hype or reads or anything. A lot of my clips are also not from the most recent patch so I’m not sure how well those are taken.

if the opponent doesn't tech u are not reading their tech option for roll in, away or tech in place, that's the hype part
There were some clips that VyQ usually says "he could've teched it" which literally means it was a "you wouldn't know when to tech that" situation. Honestly, it kind of annoys me that he says that as if he is a "professional tech player"
@@bashura_0019 i think he says that cuz these are probably wifi games where teching is really inconsistent so people can get away with that

No disrespect to everyone but I’m getting tired of seeing these modded clips as it detracts the experience for me.
Smash mods are garbage anyway. Mostly because of lack of modded voice lines and modded skins.
While in Guilty Gear Strive, they have a big variety of mods and actual good mods. For example, there is a lot of voice lines of macho man from potemkin
