Wow that turned out good! Lots of work though! We bought 25 acres about 7 years ago here in Nova Scotia. Most of it was clearcut about 15 years earlier so we basically started from 0. Build a house, shed and chicken coop. Then cleared some land for lawn and orchard. All without any machinery (other than hiring a 15 ton excavator sometimes). We then added 36x40 woodworking shop. Recently a 36x40 barn and now another 16x50 house. Recently bought our first machine which is a 6 ton excavator. Holy cow what a help that is!! I would love to have some cattle and we are hoping to buy another 35 acres within the next years. It has been clear cut about 20 years ago so the plan would be to pretty much completely turn it into pasture for cattle and hay. We do have the excavator now but I am almost thinking of just getting a huge mulcher in and just mulch the whole property and then a bulldozer and maybe even a tractor with a plough?
