This is a beautiful tour SINEAD! This looks like a majestic place. Thanks for providing us info about the London tour passes. I may visit in a year or 2!
We used Evan Evans for our day trip from London a few years ago, it was a fantastic trip, our tour guide was very passionate about history and very knowledgable. Stonehenge itself was very fascinating, it was my first and only time there. We took the shuttle bus from the gift shop to Stonehenge, but people can also walk, next time I go I think I'll walk, just to take in the whole experience of being there.
Stonehenge, one of the places that I'm goin' to visit soon and make awesome editing, thank you Sinead, the Icon of United Kingdom.
Exciting to hear you are going to be headed that way, Rony!
I have no doubt you will Rony
Thanks again for your continued support

Just when I think you have done it all you suprise me with even more. Your tours are the best in the world and Im actually super happy global events have put you on UTube. Simply the very best entertainment and educational channel going on UTube. Looking forward to more. I put you on at night as your voice is very soothing. Thank you ever so much.
This is quite simply one of the most beautiful compliments I have ever received
Thank you sincerely for your amazing and loyal following and for making my job worthwhile x
Sinead
I remember going to Stonehenge back in the 1970s when I was in junior school. Back then there was no museum or heritage centre and we could walk right up to and in and around the stones. Of course, at that age I didn't understand or appreciate the breathtaking and staggering engineering that must have been used to actually build this site. I would love to visit again. Now I've emigrated to Canada, so will have to arrange it on a visit back to see family. A coach tour!
I remember that, too. My family visited in 1972. Stonehenge has a distinct and memorable feeling to it. I'd love to go again and see all the additions.
Yes, please. We totally love all of your tours. ❤️
Thank you so much Jimmie
Watching this from the Philippines and it is giving me goose bumps thinking I used to drive past Stonehenge on the way going to visit friends in Devon. Thank you Sinead. What a lovely feeling xxxx

In the late 50s during the restoration my Dad guarded Stonehenge he was in the Army. Thankyou Sinead.
Oh wow! Thanks for sharing, Deana.
Our last time in London we did a day trip tour to Windsor, Stonehenge, and Bath. My wife and I were most excited about Windsor and Bath and not enthused at all about Stonehenge but in the end it was the absolute highlight of the day. It’s simply one of those places you can see in photos and video a thousand times but seeing it in person is completely different. In addition the dining area was lovely, and the staff so friendly and helpful. When in London we’re always hesitant to leave the city because no matter how much time we spend in London there’s always something left to see or favorite spots we want to revisit but this is definitely a day trip worth taking! Thank you for the wonderful tour and reminder of a lovely day we had a couple years ago!
I used to guide that tour Hope
Great day long day but a productive day
Stay tuned Bath coming soon 👍
Sinead
These tours are so very worthwhile. As to Stonehenge, I have many questions that probably cannot be answered. It is so good that the government agency or department that administers these sites have kept development far from the stones themselves so that their dramatic location is not spoiled. Great tour Sinead!
The mystery is part of why it's so intriguing!
Yes! I’ve always wanted to visit Stonehenge, thank you for taking me. 😘
Yes! I love these -off-the-beaten-path tours! Keep 'em coming :)

I am so happy I was able to go here in the 70's. You could walk within the circle, touch the stones and be part of them. No visitor center or museum, just the beautiful stones in the middle of the field. It was a dream come true. Loved watching this video! Thanks!

I was here at Stonehenge in ‘97. I believe we parked our car where the coaches now do drop offs. I think it was only the stones-none of the other stuff was there back then. I think the route to walk around the stones was closer to the stones, as well.
Great tour once again, Sinead!
It sure was Sandy Stones are a mile away now from the Visitors Centre hence the shuttle buses
Thank for watching lovely

Thank you for an awesome tour. After the lock down here in South Africa a lot of us lost our jobs and businesses. As well a with the South African Rand to the Pound rate I don't think many of us will afford to travel to the UK in a hurry soo these tours and walks of yours are absolutely amazing. Another GEM from Sinead, Thanks... Not being silly but one of the first things that came to mind was Chevy Chase knocking down the stones with his car in the 1985 movie European Vacation. The first time I went to Stonehenge, was on a school trip. We were allowed back then to walk freely around the stones and touch them. I felt their magic and knew there was something mystical about them. Years later we took our daughter there, it was so very changed and very commercial. The fence was up. By then I was a pagan and was just itching to put my palms on the stones. I stood and stared and tried to feel the magic again but seemed to have diminished. The Druids, did bad things. My Welsh ancestors are from the Isle of Anglesey, history puts Druids there. I enjoyed this tour very much, I'm looking forward to the next one this afternoon. 💖💖

I love, love, LOVE stonehenge! We stayed at a great little place near the train station and took a cab out to the stones, as we opted to do a special access tour at 6 am. Worth the extra in price. We got to walk amongst the stones. I got so many great photos. And we then took a local bus to Old Sarum, just outside Salisbury. Brilliant day. And we even had time for another look at the cathedral. Made a day trip to Bath the next day. Just fabulous! Can recommend it to everyone wanting to go. Great to see you spreading your wings, Sinead. Cheers and I hope you enjoyed Bath. 👍😎

@@leary210275 My travel buddy also was smitten with Bath. We met an Aussie expat there. He'd been living in UK for 40 years. Sounded like a native. He was sitting in the booth charging for tickets to the magnificent gardens. Took loads of photos. Just a bit busy for me. Lots of tourists. We had a great time. Cheero. 😎👍
It is more than awesome.Have you read the book about Sarum which starts in prehistoric times & goes right thru history.Amazing book.Sheesh I am soohomesick now.
Bath is so incredible.
@@susanmccormick6022 Thanks for the feedback, Susan. I haven't read Sarum, but was impressed by the remaining monument. We had a hair-raising ride from Old Sarum back to town (Salisbury). It was in a double-decker bus down winding, narrow country lanes. My friend and I decided, like giddy schoolgirls, to sit upstairs, right up the front of the vehicle. We could feel every hairpin bend in the wild swaying of the top section. With beautiful uninterrupted views through the wrap-around windows. I could feel my life skating across my eyeballs with every swerve. I got a hilarious pic of my friend staring fixedly ahead and tightly gripping the bar across the front. We left the bus with a few extra grey hairs that day! And the baby-faced lad driving, had only been on the job a few weeks (he was very skilled all the same!) I hope this tale makes you smile while thinking of home. Cheero. 😎🚌

@@leary210275 we had wanted a tour of inside Westminster Abbey. My husband is afraid the lengthy walk of Westminster, parliament to Trafalgar Square would be too much for him to handle.
