It is always helpful to listen to your comments. I am still not on a NOAC for my paroxysmal AF much to my cardiologist's dismay. I know I am taking a risk but I want to try other preventative ways to try to stop blood clots from forming, like more exercise, more water, perhaps trying natural supplements (like Nattokinase) before resorting to tried and tested medication which also carries some risk. I am still afraid of taking Apixaban because of a strong family history of gastric bleeds. I look forward to hearing your next video about anticoagulation and Afib. Many thanks again for all your help.

Chew the Apixaban & take it with lots of water, so there is very little contact with the stomach.

What are your views on about injesting garlic and ginger while on warfarin? I like these herbs, but have been advised not to use them, anymore. I have a mechanical heart valve and have had cabg x 4.
