    Hi Ruth, since your one of the only women left on YT camping in an Aliner, I follow your channel. I just got my Aliner in January and haven't had a chance to camp. I'm in MN. Our snow literally just melted last week. Anyway, thanks for showing your camp set up and the inside of your Rig. Oh, I taught myself to hook up my trailer and back into my garage using info from your videos. Thanks again.

      Hey Donita.. I create a lot of content around A-Liner. Have a fun backing up video. You might already know about my channel. But both Nicole (my wife) and I create content around the A-Liner..

    Nice campground and nice looking Aliner! I've had an Aliner Ranger 12' bought new in 2013 and it's been a comfortable trailer. Safe travels.

      @@ruthtrips7391 Sorry for the tardy reply. Yes I do and I'm getting prepped to head with it to the Cherokee National Forest in east Tennessee for a few weeks of fly fishing. I've pulled it all over the Smokies and the Colorado/Wyoming Rockies from here in the southeast and it's served me well. I'll have a few YT videos of the Sping '24 trip to the CNF posted in late April/early May.

    Hi Ruth i just bought my 2021 aliner LXE i went out once so far. I also am a solo camper and was thinkin about a screen in tent. was it difficult to set up by your self? I also enjoyed and purchased a tarp to you use as a canopy. thanks.

    • @ruthtrips7391
      @ruthtrips7391  Рік тому

      Congratulations on your new Aliner Daniel, I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy mine.
      There are a lot of newer style screen tents, instant tents are the easiest. Instant tents are usually Popup types and one person can do it in less than a minute.
      Mine is not an instant tent. My screen tent is older and has poles but it’s also easy for me because I’ve set it up many times by myself. You just have to lay it out, insert the poles, then the legs. It’s tricky standing it up but if you go about it one side up then the other it goes pretty smooth. Trial and error… setting up camp is my favorite part… I’m weird that way lol so if it’s not yours I’d suggest a newer Popup Instant Screen tent 👍🏻
      Happy camping!

    Hi Ruth, am living in Canada and have the exact same Aliner camper as you. Enjoy watching your videos and hope you can answer a few questions. When traveling, I've noticed that the metal tab on the top door seems to push through the frame. Have you ever experienced this issue? Secondly, when folded down the door sid wall seems to scuff the window of the curb side wall. Any tips to prevent these issues would be greatly appreciated.

    • @ruthtrips7391
      @ruthtrips7391  Рік тому

      Hi, thanks for the kind reply.
      As for the first question, if I understand it correctly, no, my top door has a small metal plate riveted near the bottom that keeps it from falling through.
      Secondly, again, if I understand your question, yes, I had a little scuffing on the B side window from the A side resting on it during travel. It has a rubber stopper type thing that is supposed to prevent that but I added a felt press on furniture pad to it as additional buffering. That seemed to work.
      Also, mine is a 2010, not sure if that makes a difference.
      I hope that helps.
      Ruth

    • @ruthtrips7391
      @ruthtrips7391  Рік тому

      Sorry, I should have read that a little closer, you do had the metal tab, same as me, and no, I’ve never had it allow the door to fall though. Is it possible that it’s not wide enough?

      Hi. Your video just popped up on my feed. New Aliner owner here. Taking her out for her first outing in a week. She is perfect. I have a little vehicle and was looking for something that was less than the 1000 pounds, dry weight, that my 1974 Boler weighs. I purchased a used 2011 Aliner Alite. 620 pounds.
      I have lots of room to stand up or sit and play guitar. The one bench I will use as my kitchen set up, if need be, if it’s raining. I’m thinking I should look for a small dining tent, too. This state park you visited is so pretty.

      Well congratulations on your new adventure!
      Yes, having some type of Popup tent for extra living space is a nice addition.
      I like to keep my Aliner tidy, so having the outside tent for cooking and eating achieves that.
      Thanks for watching and happy camping!!!
