Awesome and delish! Im sending this vid to my aunt. You put the perfect amount in the husk, and hers always end up like footballs! Ha!
Have you ever tried a small squirt of yellow mustard to your batch? Not a huge difference, but when I do, I kinda makes the cheese part, pop a lil better.
Not sure how I got here...but I love your 'home' cookinz! :D

Thanks for the suggestion, but we don't eat regular mustard and our homemade mustard wouldn't go with these. I do have some picky eaters here lol.

Never had spinach and cheese ones, but these look awesome, will have to try. I do have one question Sibyl....when you mix up a whole bag of masa like that, about how many tamales do you think you will make with that much? Thanks for sharing as always and great job Lexi! :)

Out of the one bag, I made 2 batches of tamales at 6 doz. each and had about enough masa to make about 5 more dozen. Any left over masa, you can put it in a freezer bag and freeze it until you are ready to make more. Just let it thaw out over night. Sometimes you may have to add a bit of water to get it to the right spreadable consistency. You don't have to use the whole bag of masa mix. Adjust your ingredients to however much masa mix you use. I just find it easier to mix up the whole bag and freeze the leftovers. Thank you Anita.

@@TheSibyljh53 Thanks Sibyl! I was wondering if you was able to freeze it, cause I would be like you and probably mix the whole bag then freeze what I didn't use until later on, plus you can then do like you did and make the flavored ones for your pork.

Sorry about the spinning around with the camera. I will use my old videographer, Micaela on my next video.

I need tamales! Unfortunately I’ve had to give up dairy. Hopefully I can add it back soon. One thing at a time.

My pork tamales have no dairy at all. Maybe you can make some of those and be able to eat them. Love ya.
