Sounds like the old McDonnell Douglas DC9 flew on one of those back in 2000 on Northwest Airlines .
My absolute favorite airplane!
Love this plane as well! Definitely fly on them while you still can!
They’ll be around for quite a while according to some of the Delta flight attendants and pilots I spoke to on my fight from Italy to New York.
Those engines sound are music to my ears and can make me asleep 😂. Hopefully Delta extends their Boeing 717 until the 2030’s as they did with their Boeing 767-400
From what I’ve heard it sounds like Delta intends to keep their 717s till 2030. Thanks for watching!
Great job 👍✈️
I appreciate it!
All Of Your Flight Videos Are Great😉👍👏✈️🛩️!!!
Thank you!
This plane is the last ever DC-9 variant. Gotta enjoy it while it’s still around.
Definitely! I’m glad delta pushing back the retirement of these birds so we have more opportunities to fly on them!
It's a 717 not a DC-9 variant?
@@davidsmiths5471 this aircraft was originally developed by McDonnell Douglas with the name of MD-95 as a MD-80/90 replacement. When Boeing merged instead of scrapping the program they changed the name to the Boeing 717.
@@Lunadog99 80s and 90s are stretch versions of DC-9s! 717s are smaller and have different type of engines! Hence then different name!
Awesome flight on B717-200 N982AT I love B717-200s I miss the Angry Puppies so much. I hope you had a nice flight onboard B717-200 N982AT.
Thanks for watching!
Great flight Luna, I think you landed on 19r. That’s the same runway I landed on but coming from the other direction on a Southwest flight I think it’s runway 1R or 1L not sure? Anyway thanks🛬🛫👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸
Yup landed on 19R, which would be 1L when landing from the south. Thanks for watching!
