This video goes over WoW Dragonflight news and the upcoming release schedule of World of Warcraft: Dragonflight, when is Dragonflight's pre-patch, what's coming in pre-patch, what's going away in Dragonflight pre patch and what you should do and expect out of the expansion release cycle, and what to do before Dragonflight. If I missed anything, please let me know in the comments and I'll pin or heart it. I purposely avoided any major story spoilers that I knew, and avoided including footage from any main story quests or cinematics.
World of Warcraft: Dragonflight is the upcoming ninth expansion pack for the massively multiplayer online role-playing game World of Warcraft, following Shadowlands. It was announced in April 2022, and the release date is November 28th, 2022.

Also there is a +50% EXPEREIENCE BOOST starting October 4th running until Dragonflight (we think). If they turn it off on pre-patch I will CRY.
Blizzard did not make anyone aware that they were turning the XP boost back on so it did not make it into this video, sorry!
I intentionally omitted a lot of details about the UI as there will be an entire video on the best ways to use it once we have a firm pre-patch date. Stay tuned!
They will turn it off in the pre-patch (when Evoker become available in the pre-patch) but, it will still be faster to level in the pre-patch as they will make the XP from 1-60 roughly equal to the XP it takes going from 1-50 now
Yea I fully agree, my prediction is Evoker goes live on November 22nd tho, so much deeper into the pre patch will be when they turn bonus xp off - if this prediction holds up :D

the leak has been right about everything so far so i would expect oct 25th but in the df interview ion did say he didnt want a long pre patch which is why they havent announced it yet.
its kind of odd we have the launch date before the pre patch date something tells me it mite NOT launch on the 25th.

I think this video kind of showcased some of the reasons I fell out of love with the game. The entire first half of the video was basically "Grind this to get this mount." "Grind this other thing to get a title." "Do it now or else it'll disappear forever, so be sure to do that content you don't like!" The game really capitalizes on FOMO now rather than just having natural gameplay mechanics or loops that will make players want to spend time in the game. And they do it in the most abrasive and boring way possible. Which is a shame, because there's several things I'd like to aim for, but i'm not about to slog through countless hours of my life not having fun to do it.
To be fair, there are hundreds of mounts, dozens of titles and thousands of transmog pieces that were added in this expansion that are not going away ever. The overwhelmingly vast majority of the game’s rewards and collectibles are not seasonal and have no time pressure at all. Two mounts, three titles and a couple achievements going away is hardly ‘capitalizing on FOMO’.
They definitely do want you to feel like you’re missing out if you’re not playing - because you are - but these things aren’t really a reflection of that. These seasonal rewards didn’t replace anything in the game they were all additive as far as I’m aware.

A question that I am left with as eternal pserver player, when will SL move to the base game? the product detail for dl pre-order states SL is required. If I need to get SL it's a no deal for me.
Closer to dragonflight launch, typically during the prepatch or just before launch itself. There will usually be news posts about it everywhere, I’ll make a post as well whenever it’s included in base game
@@notSachy yes that's like the usual answer. I just don't get why they don't include it right away. In my opinion they miss out on quite some pre-orders just to milk additional money for SL, real mood killer.

What UI is he using please?
Hey, in the Dragonfllight footage I'm using stock blizzard UI, but in live retail footage I'm using AtrocityUI
arent the mythic keystone mounts 2,5k?
Previously it was 2500 when there were 10 dungeons in the rotation but currently there’s just 8 dungeons in the rotation (KSM requires min. 250 score per dungeon)
Are you not showing prepatch footage because you dont want to spoil stuff, or because its not even on beta/ptr yet so there isn't anything to spoil yet xD

hey guys, what are the requirements for me to be able to join pre patch content please?
Hey! There are no prerequisites at all, you just need to have a level 60 character basically. Since the prepatch event mobs are level 60, I’m unsure if you can do it at a lower level but there is a roughly 70% XP boost active in game right now so leveling is super fast 😄

@@notSachy prot and holy paladin, retribution is +- same you lost utility because you can take damage talents. Discipline priest shadow part right side of talents useless, no interrupt. Shadow priest looks like bunch of things thrown in talents without clear way how spec even works imo.
Arms warrior and elemental shaman are absolute beasts in Dragonflight
I understand that they're behind similar classes in Dragonflight but are they worse than live? Ofc prot pala is worse but its almost been overhauled as a class so much that I think it needs time to brew. But besides prot pala are the others that bad?

Others i do not play indepth enough to tell i know for sure guardian druid for example is exactly the same.
Talent trees are going to FAIL. Why? Because in the past we had already issues of "You need to have this tree build, or else you cannot join, yada yada..." I suppose this is going to happen soon enough when Dragonflight hits launch... :(
