- hello! this is my first video haha i decided to film my process of customizing BTS' Army Bomb Ver. 3 to gold! since my bias is Jimin, i decided to make my army bomb like his microphone for the upcoming tour! a lot of people are doing this, i wonder if i'll see others decorated like this. i'm not sure who was the first person to do this, so if you know, comment down o:
i tried my best to explain most things, including things i learned. hopefully my captions are understandable lmaooo i kind of want to do another one - in black ^^;

Imagine rocking up to the concert with a bomb like this 🤩 it turned out sooo good 💜 you have amazing patience... I saw a hope world, painted design that I wanted to do for mine, but I'm only brave enough to try since I have a MOTS version on it's way 😅 terrified of messing it up! 😖
Great job! Armys are so creative. I really like the gold color you chose. I've seen other videos like this, but yours is one of the few to use spray paint and that's the method I will do! I hope it turns out well :)

I really like how it turned out! I wish I had an ARMY Bomb too so that I can customize it but my parents won't buy me one because its "just a waste of money. You only need one when you are going to a concert" I mean thats right but I still want one🥺
If Ihad one I would make it pastel blue/green or light purple I think that would look nice🥰💜 but I think mine won't look as nice as yours😅 the stones will probably be messy but its ok🙃
Thank you! To me, the army bomb would still look really pretty in your room or in your home! Maybe you can get a cheaper unofficial one to practice decorating on

Once I get one (I’m getting vr 4) I’m going to decorate it with black rhinestones (my fav color is black and blue so I chose black for the army bomb) and a black butterfly thing (i found off Amazon it’s for crafts) and then some black flowers (I also found off amazon which they are also for crafts) and that’s what ima do to my army bomb once I get it :D 💜💜🖤🖤

I badly want to do this! But sadly I don't have money to buy one😭 I think if I had the money to buy seven (yes, seven as in BTS), decorating it with rhinestones or swarovski crystals would've made me calm down everytime I was mad or angry. I badly want to go to their concerts too! But I'm too broke plus, I'm just 14😣

Awesome! I customized mine with green gemstones like Tae's mic and I bought the baby Tata figure and glued him on the top😂

You should do the zigzag pattern to avoid spaces, but it's beautiful I'm planning to do it with my army bomb
I think they would still be a bit large, but maybe! I kind of want black ones in a smaller size so maybe zigzag would be a good idea!

if you wanna spray paint your army bombs - especially metallic like this - i recommend dupli-color's line of anodized top coats :))) they have a metallic base coat you spray on first, then the anodized, and it gives it a really cool metallic look while being smooth & shiny.
just remember to buff the army bomb with 3000 grit sandpaper first :)))

I've painted mine in light purple. I will add light purple and purple rhinestones (purple for the edges and the "red" tip and the 2 logos, and i will do the rest with light purple rhinestones :) )

Hi I was wondering how many crystals did you use to cover the army bomb? And also, I was going to do mine like yours but I don’t have spray paint. Does that mean I use 2 coats of white paint? Please reply back :)
I would estimate like 2k crystals you can use whatever color of paint! I just used spray paint since they make it in gold and was easier

You don't have to, I just think for gold, it would make it look more uniform and bright if it were spray painted or painted first. A lot of other bombs I've seen use purple rhinestones on the black handle!

ARMY Jimin you could find cheap rhinestone! look on amazon, eBay, etsy and more! :) you don’t need to have swarovski crystals
