The mangaka's collaborator is what the author used as a reference as far as the sign language goes. They make it a point in the manga to say that there are 2 kinds in Japan such as JSL (Japanese sign language) and "Nihongo Taiou Shuwa" or "Signed Japanese" and that they have different grammar from each other. They say that the sign language in the manga and the show is "Signed Japanese" which includes facial expressions, eye, movements, and other visual cues that are vital for correct info, and that it is a very richly expressive sign language system. This is what her collaborator taught her which is the sign language they use on a daily basis.
@@SliceOfRustronamy NP! Since the anime released, I’ve been rereading it and I recalled that the mangaka left that info on the last page of the second chapter so when I heard ya’ll ask that question, I figured it would be cool to share that. One thing that I really appreciate with this story is that it really teaches you about the sign language and what a deaf person’s day to day life might be like. As I’m up to date with the manga, I hope ya’ll continue to watch the show and I look forward to seeing ya’ll enjoy this wholesome love story 😁🫶🏽
@@SliceOfRustronamy I highly recommend that anime if you haven't watched it. It's sort of a parody/deconstruction of the Isekai genre. Funny as hell. The premise is that a guy who's been in a coma for 16/18/something years awakens with knowledge and magics that he had in the other world. A lot of it is the two MC and the FMC watching his Memory Display (basically like a VHS/DVD recording) of what happened in the other world. One thing that is funny but sort of sad is that he Isekai'ed before the Tsundere hit main stream so he fails to recognize how the Elf Princess feels about him. I haven't yet started the manga but it is the next one on my very-long list to start. I'm hoping that somehow they are reunited. Oh, and he is a HUGE SEGA Saturn console fan. There are many references to SEGA Saturn games.
9:25 English and German share some deep roots. English is probably more closely related to German than French or Spanish. If someone learns English as a second language then German as a third kind of makes sense.
In Horimiya the relationship is established pretty early aswell. I'm shikimori's is not just a cutie the story starts off with them already being a couple
To me it looks like the girls are drawn Anime style while the guys have more realistic features, especially when it comes to eye size. They're also all pretty boys. You can tell that this is a Shoujo.
Its really good romance!!! Its a pure Romance anime!!! Yuki and itsuomi one of the best couple in romance genre!!! I really love them soo much!!! It’s a really good story!! I really Hope you guys continue watching a sign of affection! 😭🫶🏻 I also recommend you guys to read the manga!!! ^^

Yuki’s ended up being one of my favourite characters of all time already, I adore her💗
She is absolutely adorable! We don't blame you!
7:00 "Nobody's ugly in this world." That was one of the points in Isekai Ojisan. When he isekai'ed people thought he was a type of orc.
lmao, sounds funny!

Yeah, 100%. They're like anime versions of people from Korean dramas. 😂
