These guys have home training. I bet they both grew up with a father in the household. Remember Pres. LB Johnson implemented welfare in 65' and the stipulation was that to recieve the benefits their must be no male head of household. That eliminated the father from the family and it was the systematic destruction of the black family. Also for the women it was the more kids you produce out of wedlock the more money you get. @@matrox I believe both major political parties have some form of racist idealism ingrained in their fabric because that's what the entire country and most of Europe was founded on, the belief that the color of someones skin, or their nationality makes them better or worse of a person, and in some cases makes them not even human. That being said I believe that young people today are tired of all that crap and everyone just wants to be happy, free, and we all want to enjoy life and be respected. This is why we do what we do so that we can hopefully unite everyone through their love of cars.

For example, any english person hated the danes since they invaded regardless if there were good danes. It wasn't worth the time to figure this out since if you were wrong, then you'd be dead if you were a male or become a slave if you were female. Same thing happened in Africa; blacks were trading slaves toe each other long before Europeans or Middle-Easterns arrived. This was just the economy was based on. Then, once the Europeans and Middle-easterns arrived, Africans had even more incentive to conquer other tribes and acquire slaves. So, slavery was never founded on racism, it just became that since African slaves look different from the Europeans.

Went with the 1SS. My experience has been the more tech options, the more places for electrical gremlins to hide. I wanted to go back to basics. Big engine, minimal frills.
I agree with you 100% The 1SS is perfect for me, though I wouldn't mind having the light features of the 2SS.

I bought a 2012 1SS Camaro with 68,000 miles on it for $19,000. I added a kennwood stereo with Apple Car Play/Android Auto and a backup camera for around $800. I did the work myself. The control knobs look and act like the original factory knobs. The car already had very nice chrome rims and an upgraded exhaust system that the previous owner added. I made a video about the stereo system on my UA-cam channel “fist mod I made”

One correction: sun roof is not standard in any trim. It is an available option ($995) for both the 1SS and the 2SS.

I was thinking the same and as much as i love the side view a fully open sunroof gives to a sport car i hate it on Camaro's since it takes away the nice more aggressive looks that non sunroof Camaro's have as you can see in the video. Surprised they didn't mentioned about this because looking from the front it makes a noticeable difference in my opinion and it completes the look of that beautiful all black Camaro which looks way better from the outside at least...

Good comparison, 2SS is a no brainer IMO, all the goodies you get are well worth it and then swapped out interior parts with OEM ZL1 red stitching to match the brake calipers :-)
The 2SS is amazing, I probably would have went for it if it was available at the time, but I love the 1SS as well.

When I sell my GT350 next week I’m getting the 2SS! Wireless CarPlay 💦. Ambient lighting 💦💦. The 1SS 1LE comes with a lot though. Especially compared to base mustangs

These are the 2SS 1LE add-ons over the 1SS 1LE: dual-zone air conditioning (small cockpit does it make a difference?), Bose premium 9-speaker system, Forward Collision Alert, alu accents on door trim and shifter cap, Interior Lighting, Rear Camera mirror, Heated and ventilated seats, Illuminated Sill plates, heated steering wheel, wireless charging.
TBH for the money I'm happy with the 1SS 1LE.

Interesting points regarding the maintenance issues with all those convenience features. That is often where the maintenance issues show up first.
Yup agreed but in the 2SS defense, he took it in for an oil change the other day and they did an update to his head unit and it pretty much fixed all of his issues lol.

Just bought a black 2022 2ss redline edition. Was 57 grand out the door dropped 2Gs for deposit and it’s suppose to be here end of October I can’t wait !!

Nice cars guys!! Got my SS/1LE new out the door for 43k, back in 2018. That was just before they offered the 2SS option.
To be honest that's the year I really wanted but they were selling for 45k+ used when I was looking, I prefer the way your car looks overall.

I bought a black 3LT earlier this year which is equivalent to the 2SS but with the V6. I contemplated the SS and now regret not getting it. I love my car, get compliments all the time but nothing is like that V8. And I love my interior with all the extra stuff. Love both of y’all’s cars!!!!

For the 2SS you could fix the whining sound on the cool seat by making the seat higher. I had that problem with mine and it worked. Lol hopefully this helps

I've personally felt that the vented seats in the camaro are trash and I need good vented seats since I live in houston and it's always hot and humid here. Mopar has the best vented seats

@@RaceCarFriends I wanted manual, but it is an automatic. Going to get the clear bra put on next week....black shows every little scratch.
In the case of the 1LE, its not a big deal if you get the 1SS. Because you also get the HUD, the magnetic ride control and the recaro seats either way. To me not having the HUD for a normal 1SS would be a dealbreaker. But in the 1LE 1SS, you get all that anyway. You will only be missing the vented seats, wireless charger and interior illumination. Im sure there are a few others small things.

It is really odd that the 1LE package is the same 7k on both the 1ss and the 2ss. As you said the 2ss already has a bunch of stuff standard that the 1LE package has. So really you are getting less for the 7k extra on a 2SS than you do on a 1SS.

1ss 1le adds heads up display for free on top of the base 1ss. You can still use your phone for gps with apple car play. 1ss 1le is a better buy and upgrade in my opinion, it is also lighter weight.
That's how I feel personally, but I can understand people opting for all the 2SS features.
1ss for track… 2ss for commuting comforts. This was fun to watch! Possibly picking up a 1ss tomorrow! 😬 only item I wanted on the 2ss are the Bose speakers… 😭 but that’s not worth $3k+ extra and Chevy only offers them on the 2ss and up.. 😕

LOL, that’s because a cat-back system adds no performance. Headers are good for sound and make an actual performance difference. I love the sound of my 4th Gen TA with long tubes, high flow cats, and stock rear section. But I don’t think the Camaro with dual mode exhaust needs any changes to the sound.
Loving this video, but personally I’d be getting a 2SS/1LE once the market settles down back to normal and prices drop as low as possible because of the high influx from the new models that will come in.

Brand new cars market haven’t really gone up in price. They have only increased a little due to inflation, there is no going back down from inflation it’s too hard. The used car market has gone up due to Covid though. So you buying a new car now vs in a year won’t matter
How's that working out for you? It's March, 2022 and there are almost no 2SS/1LE camaros in stock in the country, and the ones that are, are marked up. Prices are here to stay for awhile.

The lights and speakers are both upgrade options. So....can definitely add those cool features without all the rest to get a cheaper sticker price
I sold my Scat pack and miss it dearly. I'm looking at getting a Camero SS. Love Dodge, dollar per horsepower? Nothing beats it. But I like the looks of the Camero and now want one lol. Wish it sounded better then Dodge, but still has a better interior then the Dodge

I like the idle and when it’s time to open it up is sounds soo good. Me personally super loud 5.0 or 6.2 just don’t sound as good to me. When you need to to be quiet the car got you, and when you need let that baby breathe she will deliver all the cracks and pops you need !

2023 2SS Riverside metallic blue better than the 1LE. The main diff is magnetic ride control and 6 piston brakes. Which you can get with 2SS, but if you are not taking your car to the track the MRC and 6 Piston brakes are a waste of money.

Lol this actual 2SS is faster because of the A10 auto.
I got my fully loaded 2SS 1LE for 52k pre-tax y'all gotta learn to negotiate... literally got everything from the sunroof to cosmetic options. Also should mention the 2SS is $5k more than the 1SS, and the 1LE is a $7,000 option on either. Also chill with the "weight savings", the amount of weight you save with 1SS is negligible, the 1LE package itself adds FAR more weight than the 2SS option. The 1SS seats still have the same heating and cooling technology built in the seats it's just not hooked up. If you think some lightstrips, better speakers and an extra camera is gonna add noticeable weight you're bugging.

The Camaro's are a great car. They handle great. You have mentioned that you want to get a tune. Check with your dealership that a tune want void your warranty.
I had a 2017 ZL1 and I was told that a tune will void your warranty. Enjoy your Camaro!

The only way the tune will not void your warranty you have to go to Chevy and get the Cold Air Induction cold air intake have them install it and the tune that goes with it and it will not void your warranty they also have long tube headers that are manufactured by American Racing all of this is part of the Chevy performance package they offer

They should have at least said SS on the Matts, That would have been a nice touch, But all that other stuff didn't really ad weight that matters.. The 1LE suspension is supposed to be better too.. But in a straight rip that don't matter.. I would love to have either one. I love the black on black.. But that white and black looks nice too.. I'll take both... I wish lol..
You're right the mats should have at least say Camaro or SS on it, that would have made the car feel more premium.
He said the extra tech probably adds 7lbs . If anyone is concerned about that weight affecting performance I guarantee they could lose 7lbs of body weight and enjoy the tech.
I have a 1SS 1LE. With that said, one thing I regret not optioning is the memory seats. I dislike readjusting my seat after letting my friends drive my car haha. Another thing is the suede steering wheel and shift knob. I wear gloves only to preserve the suede and of course cleaning it too. I look like a dick when I have my left hand on the 12 o clock position with the gloves on.

It depends on which features you really want, for me I really just wanted the seats, and the heads up display, along with the wider tires, magnetic ride control, and active exhaust, and you get all of those with the 1SS so that's the one I got and I don't regret it at all.

I’m planning to get a lt1 Camaro and I want it really bad but at the same time idk if I should
To be honest if I had the money I would buy an LT1 Camaro right now and use that for racing because it's a lot lighter with the same power as an SS and I can modify it's look exactly the way I'd like to so it will be more unique, with the 1LE there's nothing really to be done to it except to make it faster, but looks wise I'm just going to leave it as it is which feels kind of boring, I actually get more excited about my Corolla because I can modify the way it looks a lot.
I bought a brand new 21 Lt1 6 spd manual a year ago for $34k. Car had absolutely zero options on it from the factory. It was a completely bare bares v8 Camaro, it was bad fucking ass. I ended up doing a cam and full bolt ons with it. To this day I haven’t seen another lt1 trim model modded like mine haha

Yes it comes standard with both.
If you not tracking a 1ss le everyday what's the use? Either you go all the way in or not. I went all the way in. Not going to the track, if I'm gonna spend more than 40k for a car might as well go all the way.

I gotta 2018 2SS and his newer one has nothing different from my 5yr old car. The only difference is the head and taillights and where the hood vent is.

go online you can get everything on the 2ss in the 1ss if you Order it that way.....i belive all them options are avaible for the 1ss

True! Actually I'm building an LT1 loaded with the upgraded suspension, dual exhaust, vivid orange, etc...comes to 43k. Where as my 2ss build was 55k...I can do without some features. Especially cosmetic stuff that I can do aftermarket.

If GM standardizes titanium pushrods it would be a wrap as the most reliable extreme output engine ever. I HAVE AA QUESTION THO! HOW THE HECK DID LIL BRO GET THE SUNROOF WITH THE 1LE THO?!? Yes you can add pretty much everything after.

@@carlosgomez50 No problem I actually was going to the parts department at Chevrolet to price out all the parts to upgrade to the 2SS and it wasn't that bad, but there's also websites out there like www.gmpartscenter.net that will be able to help you get what you need as well.

I think Chevy cheaped out overtime. My 2018 has the light fixtures and light up camaro logo in the interior. Still don’t have the parking sensors and lane departure though.
