In defense of the green cable: Hey Techne, do you ever greenscreen? The Green on the all green version of the Blackshark wired version is damned near perfect where as there are slight shades on the Kraken TE, that you can tell that something is up, plus the metal grill 'floats' in space and looks funky. The green on the Kaira is just wrong and will only partially greenscreen... All in all, the green on the Blackshark V2x is pretty nice against a greenscreen, you can throw the cable over your back and it looks like a wireless headset, or have it drop across your chest so that the see through effect is enough to confuse your viewers.
I like the green, but you can swap the green cord easy enough with an aftermarket cord color of your choice! For the small green wires running into the ear piece be creative with paint or tape/vinyl type wrapping and then you can do you! Thank you for the reviews Techne!
techne man u saved my life i had such a problem finding out which one was better mic wise, usb or 3.5 and the 3.5 is way better thanks so much u saved me such a hassle.
LETS GO!! Ahead and take the green out please. It’s not just techne. My set up is all black for the most part. Only color I add is RGB. Don’t like wires in the first place.. much less, neon green wires lol. Razer kills budget headsets. Wish they could dial in a high end option. Something to compete with steelseries nova pro level.
Hey I know it has been a while since you have made this comment and all but I got to ask did you get this headset? and if you did does it work good with the ps5?
Techne, you're complaining about the cable being green - but it being not detachable is OK for you? Same with the mike, those two elements being stuck to the headphones make them a disappointment in my opinion. BTW how do they compare against Corsair HS55, it's the same price point.
Razer blackshark V2x is SUCHHH a great friggin headset, for $50-$60.(mic and cable aren’t removable which is what makes the price lower otherwise all blacksharks are just bout same) Best bang for the money 100%. Other headsets at that price most of em seem pretty ehh. Razer is a great brand so you’ll get good customer support if needed. They also includes 2-year warranty. •I’ve had my v2x for 6 n half months with everyday use. Absolutely ZERO issues with it. It looks and feels like I just took it out the box. •As techne said the sound is phenomenal for the price. It’s surprisingly good. •If your thinking about buying it, just do it. I promise you will enjoy and be happy with this headset.
Sorry Techne but it is just you IMO. Great video. I just bought the Corsair HS65 and will try with some Outriders and Battlefield gameplay tonight. I already own the previous version of the wired black shark and loved it.
@@ajim1791 Love them so far. The sound signature and comfort are great. Way better than my H6PRO’s. Don’t like the sound signature on those and not as comfortable. Highly recommend them for cost to performance.
Hyperx cloud core wireless or razer blackshark v2 x or steelseries arctis 1 or xbox wired headphone these brands on my budget which one should i buy I like bass sounds and good material quality
This is seriously the most comfortable gaming headset i've ever owned, but exchanged it for another and they both sounded like mud. The employees agreed on their machine also. Must've been the spatial audio, but after searching for the right headset, getting g pro's, breaking after 6 months i must say the best thing i've done was grabbing some shp500's, and you can buy a 3.5 mic for 15 bucks if you don't want one on your desk/arm c:

Hi I have a question regarding headsets. I have an audeze penrose now. But I'm considering selling it and buying an epos h6 pro closed. I mostly play csgo. Is it a waste of money. Mr. Heinrich Svendsen Denmark
I have to be honest every timebi here you say destiny i can't help but wonder if I've seen you in game and not known lol. Thank you for all the reviews.
Guys I need your help in regards to the microphone on my headset... I've got the Razer Kraken V3 pro. It's got the detachable mic. Its the £150 model. So not too long ago I had the Razer Kraken X the more more budget model with the 40mm drivers, truth be told I was happy with the headset and its Mic quality was good on discord not picking up the mechanical keyboard and my vape for that matter it more or less checked all the boxes. Hinge snapped and I ended up buying the Kraken V3 pro. Issue out of the box experience and really I didn't dabble into third party software because I was just super thrown off. My Mic sounds like the mic if not worse in this video. Super quiet not nearly as clear as my cheaper previous pair. When playing back my own voice via windows where it allows you to hear yourself, perfectly fine... on discord app aswell when it allows you to test mic perfectly fine. HOWEVER ... When i'm on a discord / teams call. It sounds like i'm so far from the mic and its literally right next to my mouth its unreal how bad my mic is. Do I have a defect product ? Is it because the mic is detachable ? I went and bought myself an proper mic on a boom arm literally the same day. Of course the stand alone mic is x10 better anyways but id like to know if ive missed something when it comes to the mic included with the headset. Kind regards ! sorry for the Essay XD love you content ! keep it up
You missed one think if you plug 3.5 in creative x4 or any dac I do believe any and all headphones will be much better on pc something missed out on this review
Honestly these headsets are awesome when you first get them they're very comfortable the sound is great the microphone is very good aswell but the forks are definitely a major flaw which is a shame. After having my v2 pros for only a year my left ear cup got so loose it no longer holds position and slides all the way down the fork with no force.
Totally disagree. The turtle beach recon 500 is often sold for $50 or less, and are significantly superior in every way possible compared to the blackshark v2
This release was pointless. It's just a worse version of the normal v2 which now is two years old so on big sales. Where i live it even is cheaper than this + it's better.
@@vagamer522 Can't speak for the quality of Blacksharks but my Kraken X's sounded great back when I had 'em even without EQ. Couldn't say the same about steelseries arctis 1's for example. Those sound muddy and muffled and are priced higher.
You clearly don't like green, your a Red color person. Green is my favorite color, so yes please Razer keep going with the green, it actually needs a lil more green there's too much black.
1:04 I feel the same. An all black headset looks elegant + goes with any color/setup.

I dont mind the green at all. Its their company colors! Its like telling Ford they cant use blue in the their Ford emblem.

Very nice headset but how long is the cable?
did you tried the v2 x with a usb adapter, could you see the difference with the usb out of the box version ?
Hi Techne, are they loud enough on the PS5? You're literally one of the UA-camrs I trust the most.

Will it sound exactly like the 3.5m version on PC? or is there any upgrades with the USB version
USB or 3.5 makes absolutely no difference. The biggest difference depends on what you plug it into.

Fragile

Sennheiser hd800s for me. Look up some revs on in for gaming
Corsair VIRTUOSO se wireless are great sound and Corsair top line headset.
Audeze Penrose & HyperX Cloud Orbit S. Both sound great and immersive. The HyperX is basically a Mobius, so it's solid.
Razer DeathAdder V3 PRO vs Logitech PRO X SuperLight vs G502. Which is the best?
Logitech PRO X SuperLight No matter what kind of grip you have, Logitech is so much better
two very diff mice, but Im going DA v3 pro all day everyday
