The fact that he is doing work during the day means he/she is despatate. Beavers do most of thier work at night for safety reasons. That is tough beaver, bravo little buddy.
@@lovesloudcars yeah we’ve watched it a couple times. We missed the best shot of all though. The first day we went out he was sitting up on the bank shoving sticks in and I didn’t have my phone.
@@Hatchmade If a storm wipes out the damn again, set up a time-lapse camera. Holley Muraco on UA-cam rehabs beavers. You might want to see what her beavers like to eat.
What if you cut small trees or limbs from larger trees and left them nearby -- Would the beavers use them? When I leave cut string out in my garden, birds take them for building nests.
Awesome video, thanks for sharing!
@@MitchellsWoodwork thanks for watching. It was pretty cool to film and watch.

@@newworld9133 I was impressed. He did more with his paws and teeth in the one week than I did on my house with an excavator and power tools. 😂
Great video❤
@@marcleblanc1994 thank you
Plant poplar trees around your dam. They grow like weeds, and the beavers love them for food..
@@keenanandrews3692 lots are growing around there already
Know I can see where „busy as a beaver“ comes from! If it falls down? Build it again!
@@PaulLeslieGriffiths I know right? Blew my mind how fast they got going.
You got some good footage there.
Have you watched the video I posted of exploring an abandoned beaver house with my kids?

Poor beaver. It's going to be a lot of work to rebuild that dam. Maybe you could leave behind some sweet potatoes for energy replacement.
@@AndyFromBeaverton that’s a thought. I don’t know if they easy them like muskrats do though. Might have to set up a trail camera.
