Almost totally empty stands, even at that track. Sad. I remember when stands would be at least half full if not more. But then I grew up in the Heyday of Jungle & various others on Wed nite meets.
I don't mean to be a dick, but my dad & his buddy Eddie built BB/GD's w/a cast iron 392 Hemi that ran quicker or as quick as most of these alcohol FED's in the late 60's, early 70's. I rode on the push truck and saw the time slips. Plus they had over 200 Win trophies, I counted them. Man I wish I could've built a car w/them tuning in todays Nostalgia racing. Sadly, Eddie died of cancer. They beat Shirley on a regular basis back then. Yeah, THAT Shirley.
