Note not showing Pyramid Head directly stabbing Maria as well as almost never seeing a corpse's face directly. What this does is prove that your motivation is story and emotion rather than "horror". It's a Team Silent thing. Two, whatever you do, do NOT make the mistake of repeating Silent Hill 2's story in any way. That means, no person murdering/killing someone and forgetting/supressing the memory, no "Pyramid Head" type creature (unless it represents something OTHER than judgement), and finally, no chasing around a little mysterious kid. Do something new. That's what Team Silent would do. You'll never make a better Silent Hill 2, so don't. Make something new. This has promise, which is why I'm leaving you this advice.
