Popping that reverse gauge at the right time would be good for flash stepping back(catching someone whiffing)and going for a grab to launch and continue a combo as well! The white reverse gauge is the one where people need to watch out for especially the more faster characters and mayuri!
If there was one thing that i can see the game doesnt have it would be if both people awakened it would do like a split screen thing, imagine 2 characters saying bankai at the same time.

It makes me wonder though if you can just simply yellow burst cancel a Kikon attack, does that mean a blue burst Reversal can deflect it as well as last defensive resort?? It would be in line with the game's philosophy of turning overwhelming odds back around if you ask me. Because as cool as the clash effect is , I doubt many will see it very often if ever since raw Kikon moves are parried when blocking above 30 percent (red hp)
@@yoredrag-onight4204 if you can pop blue reverse that will be huge because you might want to save your reverse for that vs using for flash steps depending on how the fight goes, this game is so deep
I also thinking throwing out kikon moves raw when the conditions aren’t met is a really solid way of resetting and putting some distance between you and the opponent which would favour the mid/long range characters

@ Soul Calibur?? This is definitely closer to the demon slayer game than Soul Calibur. Soul Calibur is a 3D fighter like Tekken. Virtual Fighter etc. this bleach game is definitely not that

@ more like Demon slayer because of some of the mechanics. Storm is 3v3 too but bleach is closer to an arena Fighter because it’s no where near soul Calibur in anyway. Arena fighters to me are mash one button for combos and gimmicky moves (like Tosen’s Bankai, Komumura’s, Renji’s etc) these are just gimmicks because the game isn’t primarily based on balance Soul Calibur is based around STRICT mechanics that are grounded and don’t allow for Gimmicks
There’s more mechanics shared with soul caliber than with demon slayer or storm. The only thing shared between demon slayer and rebirth of souls is the characters having swords. There’s a mode for complex combos and you only mash 2 buttons if you have simple controls on (the same as with fighterz), so I genuinely don’t see the comparisons. Each character in soul caliber DEFINITELY has their own gimmicks so I don’t get that either.
This game could be really good... if it had an open world... but it looks like just a regular boring anime fighting game. Sucks to say that because bleach deserves so much more.

This is a dumb opinion. This is a fighting game. Not everything needs to be a low rent open world RPG where you mash the same inputs until you get to the end with no real challenge, has no style, substance and looks like ass.
