CLEANING SMOKEY QUARTZ from DIAMOND HILL MINE, South Carolina🧼Cheap, Fast, No-Scrub Crystal Cleaning

Join me as I clean smokey quartz crystals collected from Diamond Hill Mine in South Carolina! In this video, I demonstrate how to use oxalic acid to effectively remove iron stains & enhance the natural beauty of these stunning crystals. Step-by-Step Directions:
1)Gather Supplies: Oxalic acid powder, 2 plastic buckets, H2o, safety gloves, safety goggles, and a soft brush.
2)Prepare the Solution: Fill the bucket w/ water & add about 2TBS of oxalic acid. Stir.
3)Safety First: Put on your gloves & goggles.
4)Soak the Quartz: Place the Smokey Quartz in the solution, ensuring it is fully submerged. Let it soak for 4 hours on high.
5)Rinse Thoroughly: Once the quartz is clean, remove it from the acid and rinse it thoroughly with clean water to remove any acid residue.
6)Brush and Dry: Use a soft brush to gently scrub any remaining dirt or stains. Rinse again & let the quartz air dry completely.
7)Dispose of Solution: Add baking soda and pour it out. Don't kill your neighbors dog. Do this maybe right before it rains.
