Suboxone saved my life!!!!!!!!!!!! I don’t get high but I don’t feel withdrawals. Once you get over the fact your not high, or you really don’t want to be high anymore, it’s perfect for the person who truly wants to be sober. It’s not always easy, but it sure as hell beats cold turkey which I tried for 5 months. Started suboxone .25 mg after 5 months cold turkey, it was like all my PAWS vanished and I felt like I beat the withdrawals that can linger for up to 2 years for some

It’s been over a month now and I already relapsed first on kratom then on some oxy’s. Talked to Dr. and she put me back on low dose of sub and says I need to taper. Sub def saved my life... and its a very beneficially drug. I took 4mg today... and hope it can hold me over for a couple days. I honestly do not want to go back to using this suboxone daily... but the depression after a month of being sober was leading me down a very bad path.

Not really tho because it is monitored and has a long half life and youre not going to overdose on it as long as ur taking it properly thru a doctor or clinic its only a partial agonist and you only need it once a day so you can function and because it has a ceiling effect you cant get high from it it just makes it so you dont have withdrawals its saved many lives including mine you cant compare shooting heroin or fentanyl to take suboxone as prescribed yes you are still dependant on a substance but a safe monitored substance that you arent going to nod out from and need to take every 2 hours

How in the world do I even begin to talk about this crap.I guess Im going to give it my best shot and hopefully someone can help my tookus.
Back in 2009 the US was in a pretty bad place for all of us construction workers. The recession in 2008 made it so hard to find work. No money from banks means NO new construction, like houses and businesses. At that time I was 32yrs old and in the best shape of my life. I cant believe I said that, I played and lettered in 4 sports in high school. Lol. Anyway, I was in shape for sure and because of that and the speed in which I could wire homes and hotels. Well I had to do a lot of traveling due to just how big of an issue it was to have something close to home. Well my boss said that if we wanted to get paid on Friday, we had to have the job done by Thursday evening. What sucked was it was Wednesday when he told me. I bursted my butt to put this job in and I made 1 of the worst mistakes of my life that Thursday. Pulling in the main feeder wire that was 250ft long of a pull. 400amp service and that wire was very and I mean very hard to pull. I ended up breaking my back in 3 places. I was standing on the ladder rack of the truck and the pipe broke and the rope broke. I felt like I took off flying when I fell off the truck. So ever since that day right there, I have been on painkillers. The doctor I was seeing for 10yrs retired. So he referred me to another doc, sounds simple but unfortunately its not. Everyone is so scared to write a pain medication script. They hate people that have chronic pain and try to avoid people like the plague. So now I am in a dark place in my life and I think about offing myself every single day and almost every second. It really makes me upset that O know theres away to have relief and could take the damn edge off but thats a big NO GO. So if anyone has any suggestions on what i can do, I would gratefully appreciate it. Thanknyou

call it “trading one drug for another” call it “still using” “not sober” call it whatever you want but everybody has their own problems wether it be physical health or mental health. people with physical health issues are prescribed medications that they may have to take their whole life. people with bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, etc. may have to take their meds for the rest of their lives. it’s the same thing for addicts, the problem is that there is so much stigma around it that people don’t believe it’s actually a real life issue/disease that needs to be treated.

No! Suboxone is a wonder drug for getting off Heroin or other Opiates. Methadone has it's place but in reality, it's just as dangerous as Heroin because you are still getting high. When you are at the point of being ready to get off Heroin or Methadone, I mean really ready to stop getting high. That is when you should try Suboxone....because you can not get high from Suboxone, no matter how much you take! Suboxone has the highest Affinity to the Opiates Receptors in our brains. That means it binds so well to the Opiate Receptors, that it blocks other opiates from being able to get in and getting you high. I have been on it for over 8 years now and have been able to put my life back together! I should warn you though, there is a withdraw from Suboxone, so a person must be prepared for that. It isn't easy, but it is easier than Heroin or Methadone withdraw. I hope this helps anyone wondering if Suboxone is right for them?

Soboxon is great but unfortunately it wasn’t made to treat opioid addiction. It was made to make money. It is not available through your regular doctor as stated. It is only available through a limited number of doctors. Those Dr’s charge highly inflated visit prices (up to $300) (often it’s a phone consultation) and only provide a prescription for one week of medication. The prescription costs roughly $75 with insurance. That comes out to be almost $400/week which very few opioid addicts can afford. This, like most things, is all about the money. The government, those controlling government, or the doctors give a shit about actually helping people with the addictions they often times helped create. Humanity is lost in todays society. Most of us are just too concerned with surviving ourselves and those that can help, don’t. 99% of us struggling with soo many issues that wouldn’t exist if we didn’t have to earn soo little for doing all the work that makes the world go round while less than 1% us reap all the rewards. Very few of the people in control have done shit to earn their wealth. Dirty greedy fcks just manipulated the system, outright stole, or simply printed their money. Now they pretend investing it is contributing when it’s simply an attempt to gain even more. We just let it all happen too. Why? Bc we can’t do shit about it. Why? Bc there will always be enough of us that will accept their payments to impose their will upon us. We stand together and 1% could never have such power over our lives but we stand divided and we are used like slaves and slaughter house animals. Humans aren’t shit bc of this.

I just started taking this. I don’t see any way I could addicted. It literally just makes me feel absolutely normal. No high at all. I only started to take the pills to get off Percocet. That I started buying on the street. I just wanted to feel good. I was spending 3 to 5 hundred a day. Taking about 120 ml. A day. Each pill was about 10ml. I was taking about 3 pills to start. Then two more and continue that cycle through out the day. I’m in day one of taking Suboxone. I started with one 2mg. pill under my tongue. I still felt withdrawal symptoms from the Percocet. I had taken my last pill at 11p.m. The night before. I did not start the Suboxone until 4 p.m. the next day. Which was 15 hrs. since my last Percocet. Since I still felt withdrawal symptoms after take 1 Suboxone. I took one more 2mg under my tongue about and hour after my first dose. That did the trick. I felt no more withdrawal symptoms after that. I fell asleep at 6 p.m. and woke up at 9:30 p.m. still didn’t feel withdrawal. It’s now 11p.m. I have an appetite. No symptoms. I’m about to eat and go back to sleep. I don’t want to be dependent on any drug.
I’m thinking can I just take these until the Percocet are completely out?
