Minecraft Ad Astra 1.19.2 "To the Stars" is a space mod for Fabric and Forge with a focus on technology, travel and exploration. Minecraft Ad Astra 1.19.2 has everything you need to become an astronaut: rockets, space suits, space stations and machines. I was expecting a roughly put together guide containing the bare minimum information but this is actually incredibly well done. Really helped me with my playthrough.
I plan on using this mode with create, immersive engineering, ice and fire, mrcrayfish fun mod and furniture mod (fun mod addons included) lost cites, biomes o plenty, pans harvest craft 2, and some the ME system and marbled arsenal, the juggernaut armor in that mod is around the same strength as the dragonsteel armor, but has better knockback resistance, and I have mechanism for the cool tech, and travelers backpack, gonna add more mods to it, it for 1.19.2 btw
So overall, Ad Astra is like modern, shiny, nicely stylised successor to Galacticraft🤩

hey guys btw if the coal generator isnt generating energy into the compressor it may be because you have optifine and ad astra isnt compatible with optifine. You must remove optifine in order for the energy to work with the compressor

hey! so i know you really like create, a mod in progress you might wanna keep tabs on is create aeronautics, its like if create meet Valkrien Skies 2
a noticed when trying to land on any planet, ill use the moon for example, despite having extra launch pad, extra fuel, etc. I seem to spawn outside of the rocket cap that allows you to slow down and actually land safely on the moon, it just sort of glitches to the ground then blows up, ( I spawn up super high and it falls away from me , regardless of gamemode. ) is 1.19.2 broken or something?
This space mod reminds me of galactic craft mod that was really popular a while back

@miere4697Microsoft hating the community isnt the reason on why there are a lack of mods, it's that there is 2 ways to mod the game, addons(the official way) and actually going through the code (the unofficial way)
The official examples are like the marketplace or the MCPEDL stuff.
The unofficial examples are like the horizon client, toolbox client and a modding like java but i forgot the name.
Even modding in java is unofficial.
The reason on why there are a lack of mods is that addons lacks features and unoffical clients are hard to code.
Also the lack of vanilla features, is because of mcpe and a mess of a codebase(if it is). You could say the laziness, but eh, that's their laziness and laziness isn't really saying that they "don't care" about the community
You can't just blame everything to microsoft
I can do both but I like Java more and I started on bedrock

Followed your guide, thanks for posting! Question though, when I launched my rocket, it blew up and blew up half my base in the process! Do you know what could've caused this? I haven't tried it again yet since I have to rebuild the materials (and my base).
When landing, watch the meter to the left. It shows your altitude. you need to hold space and feather it to slow your descent down or else you'll crash land. It's not as big of a deal on the moon because of the low gravity, but its imparitive on Earth and Venus. I made that mistake my first flight.

Quick question and it is a dumb one but how do I enter the rocket. I am trying to do it in creative to see how it is first but even when I right click it just takes me to the rocket inventory.
This mod seems INSANE! What other mods can use the fuel produced in ad astra? It seems the compressor from Thermal Expansion can convert it into power? I really miss Buildcraft with the oil but I guess this is as close we'll ever get to that?
Thanks so much for the nice comment Huldu! I believe you are correct about thermal expansion! A lot of modpacks have added custom recipes to integrate with ad astra :)

I downloaded the latest version of this mod from the fabric courseforge, and in the best spacesuit, I literally run out of air in 1 minute, is this how it should be? how to fix?
I was wondering on something about the space Stations, for some reason the stations keep getting reset back to its same state, which all our progress gets deleted.
1. I build upon the station on moon, but everytime I come back with the rocket it resets the entire station. and all progress made on it is deleted..
2. how can you have your friend land on it?

Great video, love the Ad Astra mod. On Venus now but I can't make an infinite water supply to pump into my Oxygen distributor. Any ideas on how to get infinite water on Venus, just evaporates right now like in the Nether
Perhaps Watterlog a fence post? i have no idea if it'll work but i know you can use it to mkae water in the nether when you move it with a piston
I ran into the same problem on the moon, it just freezes. I don't think you're meant to make oxygen-filled buildings on planets, just your space station around each planet. Stations would admittedly be redundant if you could also make bases on the surface.
@@ArloMathis Water won't freeze or evaporate if you place it in an enclosed, oxygenated room.
@@NateMcCloud The problem with that is that I can't oxygenate a room without water, or at least I don't know how.
@@ArloMathis You will need to either bring water from Earth, or you will need to fill up the Oxygen Tanks on Earth and bring them with you to the other planets. Set up your enclosed room and your oxygenation system apart from the actual water blocks, put the Oxygen Tanks into the Oxygen Distributor to start it up, then place the water next to the Water Pump to start it filling itself up.
The game doesn't allow me to put water into my space station, it doesn't even freeze, just evaporate, like if I were in a hot planet. Anyone know what's the problem?? However, thanks for the review!!! it's full complete and so useful.
found out kinda late but apparently it needs to be in an enclosed atmosphere

It is called Jade :) there are others called “theoneprobe” “wyla” and “hwyla”
Please help me, why isn't power transport working? Like even if I put the machine next to the coal generator or use cables it just doesn't work.

btw i build the first rocket tried to go the moon hit the top of my wooden treehouse blew it up my whole base burned down and now im starting from scratch. make sure you have clearance

I'm in 1.19.4, and my coal generator isn't flowing energy into any other device, such as the fuel refinery. I've tried everything, cables, commands, and the cable duct. Can you help me on this topic?

You may have optifine installed optifine breaks alot of things in the mod
always when i try to launch minecraft with ad astra it crashes instantly and takes me back to the minecraft launcher.

I think there’s a glitch, whenever I try to load fuel into my rocket. The tank won’t fill up. And the fuel bucket does nothing, I’m putting it in the right spot, what do I do?

I really hope they add more energy production sources because the solar panel is not efficient enough
in atm8 which has this mod, we have wind turbines that are better and a few other choices, probably atm 9 too

what is the texture pack he uses? The water looks different. Don't tell me it comes with Create or Ad Astra, because it doesn't.
Is it possible to move around the space station in space ? Some friends wanted to have a star wars-like minecraft server, I thought about using mods like create aeronautics, valkyrien skies etc to fly around. Are there walls, limits around there ?
judging by the self-added pipes and pumps, I doubt create compatibility is a thing.
Not sure, but the mod does seem pretty compatible with create, Im playing on a modpack with both rn and it works great!

this happens if you have other mods in your pack which make steel more difficult to get. you'll have to investigate those mods

Does anyone know how to put grass blocks in a moon base? I made one and gave the room oxygen with the oxygen distributor but grass just turns to dirt

Start by placing a couple of buckets of water into the distributor then place water underneath once the oxygen starts to distribute (you need oxygen to be in the room prior to making the infinite water source or it will freeze)
can anyone tell me why my iron wont turn into steel? i used the blast furnace and i used coal as fuel
Hey I know this is really late but I’m hoping anyone else that has this issue will get help with this:
If you have “Mekanism” also installed, it replaces the option to make the Ad Astra steel ingots with the Mekanism versions. So you’ll need to make an infuser and put iron in there, then when it makes enriched iron, put the enriched iron back in to get steel dust. Then you can smelt the dust into steel ingots!
I hope this helps as I ran into the same issue. It was a little annoying considering how easy it is in Ad Astra 😂

why my coal generator dont power up other things? Like it crate power but it wont connect with oxygen generator
Try placing it next to the oxygen generator or connecting it with cables (if you use cables make sure to use a wrench to select it to pull power out of the coal generator)
for some reason water is freezing even though it is in a seal tight space
When i try to place water on the moon, to make the oxygen generator it freezes instantly. What should be done?
You have to put the water buckets directly into the oxygen distributer first, so it starts producing an atmopshere and then you quickly place the water underneath. If it's using too much water, you have a leak somewhere.
@@howtocookazombie Thanks. The problem that found was the oxygen generator used way to much energy and 1 solar panel could not power it so I run out of O2 and energy and water freezes. I now use a energizer as a sort of proxy and some solar panels into the energizer. I also need to waterlog it with fences.

@@bazej5202 it’s only 1 per rocket, so your friends would have to build a rocket as well. I was able to set up a multiplayer server with friends and it worked!
