Makwe Boto Ga - Cagi Vou Kei Veinuqa

Cagi Vou Kei Veinuqa - a new string band (yet to record) from the center of Fiji in the village of Wainilotulevu, Veinuqa, Namosi.
This song is about their village Wainilotulevu, it is the farthest village in the interior of Namosi right on the border of Namosi and Serua. The song talks about the daily struggle they face. With no road excess, the only means of transportation is by boat 3 hours up the Navua River, then a 1.5 hours walk inside the interiors of Nabukebuke from the river bank.
Despite the struggle, it is a village filled with laughter, fun and epic adventure.
"Makwe boto ga" means "just a tiny bit further". A phrase used jokingly alot to first-time travelers to the village when they ask "are we there yet?". The answer always is: makwe boto ga.
