about 3days I searched to find a good performance for this Sonata and I find it at last! your performance has so passion and I like your ideas,I think you absolutely understand this Sonata
Marcus Anderson - So I've noticed. I just finished learning the 1st movement last week and although it is not PERFECT I've started learning the second movement (with the help of my teacher) and it seems to be a little easier, but i know the third and fourth are as difficult or more challenging as the first
Did you know that the part of the clarinet you attach the reed to and put in your mouth is called the mouthpiece, and that there is an enormous variety of them available, and that it is the most important part of the instrument that dictates the quality of your sound?
Hi @evan, unfortunately something happened with the recording machine we used, and yes there was a gap. Sorry, I’d have loved to have it all 😊

Hi @paul, unfortunately something happened with the recording machine we used, and yes there was a gap. Sorry, we’d have loved to not skip those few measures 🎶
@ Shoot! Hate when that happens! I only noticed cause I was listening for a music analysis assignment. Thanks for answering, after all this time. I will have to go back and listen to this again! 🙂

@@ev_ing yes it’s so annoying. And it looks weird indeed! 🙈😄 I hope however you enjoy our music making and this beautiful piece. Greetings!
When I think of Brahms, I think of the perfect combination of structure and emotion. You captured it perfectly. Thanks for posting!
Beautifully played!.. Thank you so much for sharing.

I played it when I was 17. It's a frightfully difficult piece.
what happened with T.116-152 in the first movement?
Sorry Raimund, for some reason the recorder machine got interrupted and we lost those bars. Pity… Hope you still enjoyed the rest. Cheers
Anyone notice a whole section is missing? mm116-155
Pianist’s wish, I’m so sorry…

Beautiful playing, both of you!! I love your passion for the music and in the way you play.
But I do have a question: Did you skip mm. 116-154?
Yes they did. Extremely weird.

Ciao Pablo hai ancora da fare per salire di livello, suono e musicalità
I'm 13 and I've playing clarinet for 2 years and have been chosen to play this piece. Do you have any advice?
Enjoy! ☺️
what mouthpiece you use?
At the time I used Licostini
Did you know its called a reed?
Gd
I dont like the quality of the tone very much to be honest. Maybe it is just because of bad sound quality.
