Highlights from the April 5 - 7, 2024 "We Soon Got Proud" event. The scenario depicted was the 2nd Battalion, Reserve Artillery, CSA practicing and drilling while in Winter Quarters near Dalton, Georgia in April of 1864.

We were portraying an artillery battalion. The men's job is to service the cannons, they did not carry muskets like the infantry
