No, people don’t swim The Channel in that…sea state. Nor is that the bit they do swim. They swim the 20mile narrowest strait at Dover. Channel swimmers spend a lot of time checking weather and tides, and never make an attempt without a support vessel. Out of interest, from where are you commenting?
