The Irish, Polish, Italians, Germans etc. all came as immigrants. They all got treated like trash until they proved themselves. Merit based, but MUCH worse. But they got paid (not as much as the whites, we know) and we're allowed free movement after the work that was agreed upon was completed. Not slaves. To say my ancestors (Portuguese immigrants) were slaves in the same era would be an outright lie. However my Indian ancestors were slaves... to other Indians.

As a professional historian and direct decendant of pre-civil war abolitionists, I have always been confused why anyone from the black community would deliberately vote for the very people that enslaved them in the past and is now actively keeping them dependent on government hand-outs in exchange for votes. All that sacrifice and good work exchanged for endless cycles of poverty, hate, and crime. It is a tragedy.

I can’t pinpoint exactly when it happened, best I can tell is after the Great Depression, the Democratic Party hit the Blacks of the United States at what might as well be best timing ever and add in those holding the line being lost and a new generation on the heels of the Great Depression that didn’t know any better, basically became the standard.
From then on they have had their claws in the Black Community for generations! All you know is what they tell you and when you’re a kid why would you question it?“Vote for the democrats, because they are the only ones helping us.” Maybe when you are older and live in areas ruled by no one but the democrats, for your whole life and see the horrible state things are in, you just might start asking questions.

Democracy is dangerous and I think it’s why our country is in such rough shape. Most people I know know nothing about who they vote for and then are confused and angry when the politicians they elect do the opposite of what they think is good for the country.
For example my brother “votes blue no matter who” and then does nothing but complain and stress out about everything the Democrat party is doing to the country. The open border, pushing books about sex and gender confusion on elementary school kids, gun restrictions, abortion, he hates it all. But he only votes blue because that’s what the celebrities he likes says he should do.
Is democracy worth it when most of the people voting have no idea what they are doing? If you were going to take a ride in an airplane would you want a pilot that is just some person who got the job because people voted for him not actually knowing if that person can even fly a plane? I wouldn’t want to get on that plane, and I don’t want that for the country.

This was taught in history class in my day. It is no longer taught in GRADE school or even high school currently. Government standards have changed to keep generations of children ignorant of history. Unless they seek it out themselves.

Exactly. There are so many positive role models in our African American communities that are ignored or silenced. It’s a shame too because the Democrat party has accomplished exactly what they set out to do. They destroyed the black family which was historically stronger than any other demographic in this country. They got rid of fathers, subsidized single motherhood and created a system that left these women completely dependent. They then used entertainment to corrupt the community into lifestyles that would lead to incarceration and poverty with complete dependence on the federal government. The only way this will be fixed is if black men become the men their great grandfathers were and step up for their children’s by marrying their mothers. One need only look to actual African immigrants who come here and succeed to see the reality. They have flourished here and our black communities could too if the community would hold the values of old.

Yep - The NEA/NatlEducAssoc and pretty much every public teachers union gives Million$ of Dollar$ to Democrat candidates and their political committees to Fight against School Choice. Because they don’t want poor communities to get better teaching from competition. They don’t care about the quality of teachers! And they want to control what is taught in the public (ie, govt) schools.
Obviously this hasn’t been working the last 60 years so the great majority of students in poor community public schools never get a good education, stay illiterate & can’t read or function well in society, or in a job, or … finally just drop out of school … and the local gang becomes their family and parents.
So they practically become like animals and roam the streets at night then riot & flash mob rob stores … which hurts their communities because the stores close & move out (who can blame them?) so then there’s nowhere to shop for food, clothes, etc!!

Around 3:20 she says the 14th gave blacks Citizenship (graphic is all capitalized). What does the 14th Amendment say? How does the constitution spell citizen every time before the 14th Amendment? You've been tricked. A US citizen is a different name for a slave (black/white/purple).
There are two schools of thought: 1- Name conventions were back and forth because of our eclectic constituency and that we’re not a homogeneous nation; 2. The other is that it was a way to de-emphasize an idea or thought, to make the object of a lesser value, in this case these “citizens,” [not us the legitimate Citizens].
