Yeah that was a beautiful shot of the food going straight down the gullet and it's amazing they don't have a gullet at the time they don't have anywhere to grind up their food so they basically poop half of what they've eaten raw that's why the mom and dad eat their poop because it's still good stuff and they replenish their deficiencies for taking care of the brats

One thing I noticed about cowbirds and other parasite birds is their chicks almost never stop gaping and begging for food even if they are not hungry.
