- I managed to make the most overpowered build with the greatest whip of all time. There's so much in this game for $3. I think I'm going to play more in the future to try and get the ultimate version of every weapon.

This type of game is interesting though. I'm playing on my phone a similar one called magic survival, though that one's a bit more tough cause it has a lot more death to it

Peachone combines with Ebony Wing, a weapon. Both need to be Lv.8 before they can be upgraded, but doing so does free up a slot. This is why if you want the Peachone/Ebony Wing combo, you *Must* make sure you have the both before filling up your weapons, as you can't get rid of weapons/accessories once acquired.

@@iremainteague5653 he doesn't, really. If he did, he would've actively upgraded ebony wings instead of magic wand everytime. He did that 3 times, I wouldn't do that 3 times in a row if I knew those 2 level 8 would give me a pigeon on crack.

On the first run I know that you're not taking Duplicator to save slots for more Passive items but your Peachone can't be an Evolution because it needs Ebony wings and Duplicator is pretty good

duplicator is always fun specially if your running a missingno char with really short cooldown and really long duration, then running holy water kings bible.
wings is better than duplicator for peachone evolution tho because circle scales with movement speed

Nobody tell him how utterly ridicilous the opening is with Porta's lightning ring & the cooldown maxed.
LRing's evo kinda sucks, though, at least in my opinion.
For me, it's Garlic//Bible//Whip//Axe//FireWand//Cross. Sometimes i replace one of the last two with Holy Water, because I kinda like Borra, but then again, i'm not that hot about the Attractorb.
It works with all heroes, but for now Mortaccio has become my #1 fav. Since his Bone weapon doesn't have an evolution (yet..?) it frees up a slot for the Duplicator. This sh has nuts in it. It gets me to the 30:00 mark without fail. At a certain point my character can just stand in place and annihilate everything including the bosses. The only reason why I move him is to collect the gems.
I really love this little game, and I am proud to be one of its earlier fans. Can't wait to see what the next updates will bring.
@@HTWW :) It just got its ultimate added today. Synergies with duplicator, tome, spell binder, gauntlets, and spinach.
Reason I mention Porta is their opening on hyper mode. You get ~30+ seconds at 95% reduction of near constant fire :D

He did everything that is in the game, shame there is no new content in the game so far but the developer promised to make and endless mode where you can kill Death at 30 minutes and then follow through with the run. TBF once you beat the game once it gets really boring.
This game looks weirdly addictive, not to the point I can be bothered playing it but to the point I could watch DF play it for hours…

vandelier is the strongest cause it frees up a slot after combining the 2 birds having 3 weapon for 2 slots the only problem with the birds is its hard early game and it could kill you before completing it
Idk the unholy vespers is arguably better. Possibly the same but vandelier isn't better.
@@wa1k3r8 unholy vesper is the best overall from early to late game but what im pertaining to is the damage vandelier is basically 2 weapons in 1 slot and it can shave off elite level hoards with ease and if you run it with unholy vesper you can practically afk
@@PerishAndRuin yes but the cost of evolving into vandelier is long and you aren't always gaurantee ebony wings or peachone. I've been screwed over by that twice, got peachone and ebony wings never showed up so I was stuck with a shitty weapon that doesn't do much late game

@@wa1k3r8 Not true the game is made in a way where its guaranteed to get all items in a run, it offers you all, you just must have skipped it
DF you should try Souleater (Level 8 Garlic + Pummarola), La Bora (Level 8 Santa Water + Attractorb) and Unholy Vespers (Level 8 Bible + Spellbinder). Basically unstoppable. Creates a virtually solid boundary around you that just melts enemies. Those three + Axe and Candelabrador (makes the area of the circle absolutely enormous) are so good, so fun to play.
The absolute ultimate is all that PLUS Vandalier (the two birds maxed, combined and maxed again) and the Stone Mask for super gold boost or Clover for super luck boost. My poor little laptop was completely fried but its SO satisfying
I love hearing DF enjoy himself. If you watch some of his past videos you can hear his boredom slightly, although hes really good at making it sound monotone no matter what. I can tell DF actually enjoys playing this

Let me share a bit of knowledge.
Slight spoiler obviously:
Highly recommend unlocking the Spellbinder (corresponding item for the Bible). You can do so by upgrading the Runetracer to Lv. 7 once. The evolved bible is basically the garlic, but more ferocious. It's so good.

Having the Bracer and the Knife at level 8 will upgrade it, then it turns into a direction based weapon with no delay like the Holy Wand. It's hilarious to use
Hey DF, you are probably the most chaotic and random person I know, so I highly recommend unlocking a special character - this will include spoilers.
In the game, you can kill the Reaper either by damage or via modding. Once done, it will unlock a new character (death) that starts with a Death Spiral (upgraded Axe), has 255 HP, +100% movement speed and +20% damage. I dont think you should do this anytime soon, but down the line that could be amazing to see. Enjoyed the video, as always!

Thank you DF! I have found this game and Super Auto Pets through your channel and I love both the games and play them all the time now!
On open maps such as this the Santa water + Attract Orb combo helps a ton for exp and damage. Also as mentioned in other comments using someone with extra area (Porta) or duration (Dommario) with Vandalier, Lightning ring, Runetracer, Bible, and Water makes you quite unstoppable even on Hyper mode.
Not sure if you have noticed, but if you have the whip with the two projectiles you can shoot both of them in the same direction if you turn your character at the right moment.
They do look like angry trees, eh? But i looked a little closer, they're actually not. I noticed that on one of my runs. They're actually like angry mud monsters or something, with their hands up in the classic sort of "zombie" pose.

I'd really like to see DF try the evolution of the lightning ring. It's only in the beta for now but it's amazing.

passing up the duplicators three times caused me pain
This item isnt a must in every build, garlic dont get anything from duplicator, peachone x ebony wings dont get shit from that, axe get Just a bit on evolution, some weapons arent. Getting huge advantage withduplicator and for example 50% more size gives way more.
@@pseudosadistic5957 Duplicator with the whip is outstanding for creating head space to walk, but every time I've tried to get duplicator and calabera together it immediately refuses to let me upgrade duplicator.

@@pseudosadistic5957 Duplicator with empty tome upgraded wand and purchased CD reduction combined with upgraded santa watra aka la labra or something and fire wand which fires basically without delay is worth in itself for just these two weapons.
@@xoudrion2775 Yes, taht why i said that duplicator isnt just going well with &every build* but overall duplicator is one of the best fcking upgrades u can get, bcs even if u dont get much with every weapon, some just gets tons of more dmg, and it jsut gives overall more dmg to the stuff, but for example i would take spinach for peachon x ebony wings, garlic, axe for more dmg overall, but bible, holy sword, these 2 duplicator just doubles the dps if not more.

@@outcast170 yep, whip x duplicator just doubles the usage of that weapon, way more dmg, way more defensive utility, overall whip + duplicator is an outstanding combo in general.
I've had this game for over a month now and it is packed with fun. Lots of interesting power ups and it also has a skills section outside of the game where you spend your money to purchase skills such as increased health, atk dmg, magnetism to pick up items, CD reduction and much more. Game play can take between 10 to 30 minutes depending on if you die or finish the level and it is just good old fashioned mostly brainless fun. The tunes are like 16 bit 80's retro games and they (imho) add to the game play. It's a game that feels good to play due to the nice power progression you constantly feel. And once you figure out a build and get the items you want... you do feel pretty darn OP. Hacking, slashing, shooting daggers, magic, lightning, fire and more. I suggest sticking with around 4 different weapons and then focusing on leveling them. I have gone and gotten 6 or 7 different weapons attacks and it is nice and crazy but at some point you will run into a point where you are not hitting hard enough even though you have a plethora of different weapons causing havoc. Think DPS check. If this is something you would find fun... do yourself a favor and go grab it!
I personally love garlic/king bible in the library. You can literally just run straight through any enemy for the first 3 minutes and gain a ton of early levels.
I bought this game because of your first video, took me 10 hours to get the 40 achievements they had at that time, now there are 43 achievements, time to hop back in! I love getting Bible, also I use the wizard because the xp boost makes it really easy to level :D

My favorite thing about DF is how the video just starts
the only way to defeat minute 30 boss is having enough xp to get floor chicken and just outheal
I have really good runs with the whip, axe, Magic wand, both pigeons, garlic and if you upgraded the pigeons you have one more spot for the bible. Ofc you need all the stuff to upgrade them to the hiegest tier but you have one spot for the extra projectile one.
Also, don't pick up every chest you find. At least after the first two or three. Save them for later when you got a tier 8 weapon, since it is the only way to get them over tier 8.
The thing about the lance is you can use it to escape a unpassable horde by freezing them and running threw them. So pretty much walk threw the blue and you'll be cool!

the upgraded knives are actually insanely good. they can clear out in front of you so quickly that you can just go anywhere you want, especially if you have the upgraded bible and garlic as well. the bible is like a meat grinder when its upgraded, haha
the duplicator is also really good with the whip, since it makes the whip hit upwards as much as it hits side to side, making it cover 3 sides
I dont have the game, but watching you play it is fun. i wish the developer would add an infinite mode so that you can just keep playing, and make a video on how long you can last.
I feel like the upgraded Holy Bible (need the Tome) is something that DF would love, it's right up his alley of annihilating things close by just by walking around.
I love the upgraded garlic, passive healing plus it's damage increases while you are healing.
Try evil bible and you'll divorce garlic

I 100% the game and what I can tell you is garlic, king bible, and whip max upgrade along with vandelier and having armor are the main staples I need to beat on hyper mode. You can almost walk through anything.
I started watching you in 2017 bcs of stardew valley, i came back to your channel and stardew valley and your voice is so warm and soothing its comfortable!
you can add projectiles to the whip btw and when you do it makes it start hitting above you as well

The evolution for the lightning ring is insane. Requires the duplicator accessary and have to opt in for beta in the steam options.

you get surrounded a lot and you cant pick up the exp the attract orb is very useful to pick up the exp because the radius is very big

santa water, garlic, axe, book, birds, lightning ring, all matching upgrades. youre unstoppable. use the skeleton and youre even scarier due to +3 projectiles.

Fun Fact: If you opt into the game's beta on Steam then you gain access to the upgraded Lighting Ring which is kinda busted. It upgrades with the Duplicator.

The book is the best weapon. Starts slow but once you get the final upgrade it's a buzzsaw
It is important to note that the peachone + ebony wings combo is the only evolution that requires 2 weapons instead of a weapon and a support item.
Another important note is that the top bar of items is only weapons and the bottom bar is only support items.

DF the clover is a really good upgrade, it improves your luck stat which obviously affects the upgrades you're offered, and the amount of good drops you get.
TLDR; MORE LUCK=MORE GOOD 👍👍👍

killing death at the end of the game gives you a character, although you do need to mess with the files to do the damage needed

DF do a challenge here for all upgraded weapons, could be fun and your audience already expects a lot of poor decisions that ultimately lead to an op build
The utimate garlic armour is amazing
Hey Df an insane strategy is to use either Gennaro (easier) or Mortaccio (you need to survive longer for this one to work and need the achievement of killing 3000 skeletons) which they give more projectiles Gennaro giving +1 and Mortaccio giving +3 at level 60 which if you pair with the power up which add +1 projectile and the duplicator ring maxed out give you and extra 4+ or 6+ projectiles which is incredibly fun once you get to the stage when you have 3 or 4 ultimate weapons like instead of 3 meteors from fire wand you get 9
Edit: also the ultimate knife (bracer) is better then the magic wand as it fires in the direction your facing allowing for a quick escape
Mortaccio's bone seems really solid a as a wep choice, even though it has no ultimate.

@@thiago97klein After that first 5min of awfulness though the enemies start to stack up really well, with a bunch of bones dealing like fire wand damage they can ricochet off everything. Even end game 25min+ they will knockback your entire circle constantly as your tracers clean up the rest.
If either of those get an evolved form they'll be crazy good. Tracer as is, competes with evolved weapons very well. Bone would be interesting too I'm sure
I don't think there is objectively a bad item or a straight better though. Magic wand and tome work together really well for every build. Though knives can be powerful if carefully built, and fun, and useful as you stated.
try going poe (for the garlic) on the library map with:
axe (big dmg AOE), bible (holding enemies away), lancet (good CC), laurel(survival) and magic wand(knockback).
for accessories go:
tome (cdr + holy wand), candelabrador (for area and upgrade the axe), spellbinder (duration and holly bible upgrade), spinach (more dmg), bracer(helps with the axe and bible) and crown(just to level faster).
i think late game youll be able to stay afk basicaly, haven got a chance to test it yet

DF you can actually kill the mob at min 30 but you need the shield to survive it's dmg!

Well at first you go for survival items, but the game is good enough to let you try taking risks and build around certain characters and items efficiently (Pascalina runetracer bracers is a no brainer for me, underrated).

you should try the lightning ring it evolves with duplicater and santa water it evolves with the blue orb those are my favourite weapons youll see why :D

if you buy the duplicator upgrade in the power up menu and use the guy that gives you one extra projectile you can have 2 extra permanent projectiles off the start of the game not to say you can also get the duplicator for one more projectile increasing it to 3 extra and combine that with axes, garlic, king bibles, cross, runetracer, for the last one you can decide between 3 weapons that are all good in this scenario (peachone, whip, or lightning ring) the only reason i am not saying fire balls or magic wand is because compared to the dps of the other weapons it really doesn't compare bc runtracer have infinite pierce off the bat and the whip, king bible, garlic, cross combo basically wins the game with enough candelabrador and cooldown book upgrades (p.s. thank you too whoever reads this and hopefully i gave a good enough strategy for DF if he sees this which i doubt he will also have a great day)

It's very difficult to do and requires a certain character on a certain map with certain conditions

The best weapons or skills is the upgraded book and daggers and fireballs and maybe the axe but I've only gotten 3 upgraded on hyper mode which is the book, fireballs, axe, and some is just to help me survive which is the laurel and garlic.
