I think the muted lavender with the vibrant result is one of the things that makes it look more dynamic and convincingly holographic than some other tutorials I've seen. Really outstanding, thanks for the super informative video! eta: pravana locked-in won't bleed but the delivery is um, unique to say the least.
🤯 You did phenomenal for your first try! Love it. I've also seen a style similar to this, with a horizontal rainbow, but it's sort of, I would say "digital" where it looks like pixels, or how a corrupted image has a bunch of colorful squares that are almost in a pattern, but not quite. I don't know how to explain it properly but I bet you could rock that style out! (Search rainbow pixelated hair) Because this looks so cool. I wish Delaware was any where near Texas because I'd so be your guinea pig for anything! 😆
This is a brilliant video, I really want to try to do some kind of rainbow hair at home. Sadly I'm UK or I would let you try on mine lol. My hair is currently a light ginger ish colour. I specifically commented because of your comment about 14days into washing and I commend you. Not only for with coloured hair but also for everyone's natural oil build up ect. Hopefully I can make my 8yr old happy and give myself rainbow hair 🎉
Im fuxking obsessed. I wish the lighter purple worker out coz thats what i have in mind for my hair. But of almost all the rainbow holo hair vids ive watched yours might be my favorite. I love the lisa frank reference too lol thats so cool and your spot on. When i can save up the money to buy all the hair dye i wanna do my hair like this but with a lighter lilac purple base, but even whith the more saturated purple it looks SOO GOOOD!!! And i wanna do kindof a peekaboo with the rainbow kindof putting it only like i bit below the crown of the head ya know? But ya anyways...so freaking beautiful. I wish u could do my hair but i highly doubt you live anywhere near me lol. Serious bummer.
It looks great. So pretty! I've had at least 3 clients ask about this. I love pulp riot and joico better than pravana. But still like it too. It would cost so much to do this I think my clients would change their mind when getting the price. Bleaching and like 6- 7 colors.
It's so much fun to do honestly. It definitely cost a lot to get all these colors in one go. I'm going to have to play with them more to try more cool colors and use them all! It would absolutely be a costly service in a salon.
I want to know if I could add food coloring to manic panic to darken blue steel because I bought it, tried it and it did not penetrate whatsoever. Trying to cover up a botched dye job that turned orange? Please help
Do you think someone could accomplish this technique in dye placement with Arctic fox dye and a thick conditioner mixed in? If not what advice would you give someone (Idk upper beginner/intermediate level? I have done basically a colored balayage for a while.) doing it at home sanz license? This is so beautiful it has inspired me to attempt this on my mohawk in the future!!
I'm really wanting to do this but I'm wanting to do it on the lunderneath section of my hair.. the top part of my hair is blonde with a med brown underneath and was initially going to to go for the oil slick look on the underneath section which is meant for brunettes, but now I'm considering doing it a chrome silver underneath with the pastel neon sort of colors.. I can't decide! But regardless of which I choose, I need to know how I would even go about doing it first- as in the technique used and color placement and all that jazz so if anyone can help steer me in the right direction or anyone has any pointers I'm all ears!! Or technically, eyes. But you know what I mean lol help a struggling hair sis out! Pls!!
I looked at a ton of videos on his Instagram page dating back to before you posted this, but didn’t find anything other than super short videos of him talking about the final steps of the process and vaguely explaining what his goal was without saying how it’s done, is there a longer/more detailed video anywhere on any media platform that explains more about it?
If you mentioned it in the video, I just realized I watched the entire video without sound, but still learned so much. Seriously about to try this on me, thank you for this

I love the brighter color !

I actually just did this to my client/good friend today, wish I could post photos to show you because it came out amazing😍
Clear is actually to add to other colors to make them lighter I believe. That’s what I use it for in matrix anyways. Love the look! Gorgeous! 🤩
I wish I could have you do my hair! I am currently attempting to do this prismatic hair on myself..I am not a pro by any means but it’s so cool!!
This is perfection! I love how it came out. Now I need my hair done this way immediately!
Right?! It's so cool. I really would love to see more people IRL with hair like this! It just screams happy!
I had my hair done like this. It was awesome!
Did you ever get it done?
I love it! You go girl!
This is amazing! I do my own rainbow, and would love this!!!
Showed my stylist and got this color. It was super expensive, but I loved it.

Since it encapsulates and doesn’t bleed into itself or other colors, is it a good choice for color melting with vivids
This came out gorgeous

I agree!! It came out great! I have a client requesting a Pulp Riot formula. PR definitely sounds much like Joico, which I love!
I'm in the UK it cost me £150 worth every penny
I love this
The exact looking I’m going for except I have dark hair. I haven’t bleached in so long I’m afraid
Would you do a wig with that cut and color? I'd buy it!
I absolutely love this, I wish I lived in USA so you could do mine, its awesome xxxx
Amazing
I need to know what color you used for your hair!!!!
You can do mine for sure OMG I love it
Very good greatjob😊
I would love to have hair like that
Omg im in Dallas we have fam in Austin..I'd love this done to my hair.
Could you show step by step on how you separated the hair before coloring?

i NEED someone to do BISMUTH....like rainbow but in a different order
Would you over direct the top to one side or the other if the persons sides were shaved? Or just bring the hair forward?

LISA FRANK vibes is sooo correct!
I wish i was in Austin!!❤️
you're so pretty 💖
I love it i wish i lived in austin lol❤
Could you make me one similar? You are so talented!!! I would love to buy one from u! Can u ship to Cali?
I would love for you to do my hair! Let me know if you're ever in California
Find a friend you can teach each other how to this and have her do this for you. It’s rather simple.

This video???
How do you keep your hair smelling good past day 8?
I wish I lived in Texas!!!!
I fell asleep with bleach on a human wigs hair for 9 hours cuz I was exhausted thankfully the hair was still there lol
i wish i had the guts to have my hair done like that
I am in Oklahoma wish I were close enough I'd pay you to do my hair!
Sounds like a road trip.
Area 51 is SUPER blacklight reactive. All of thier "neon electric" colors are, area 51 is just the most!
What is your hair color in this video, go with loving that royal violet, it's very vivid
If you mentioned it in the video, I just realized I watched the entire video without sound, but still learned so much. Seriously about to try this on me, thank you for this
Nice work,
We can collaboration if you want
Let me show you how I did this hair!!! *proceeds to show you how she killed her mannequins hair to get here*
Oh relax. I had fun.
Can you do this with only 3 or 4 colors
