In this 'On The Spot Sessions' episode we feature Grammy Nominated super producer !LLMIND (50 Cent, J Cole, Drake, Slaughterhouse, Scarface, Ludacris) used Protools to create a (boom bap, trap, southern style) beat for his Roseville Music Group artist King Z3us. We were able to capture all of this live on the spot. Recording session was engineered by Lorenzo at RMG Studios in Brooklyn, NYC. Video produced by @EL_Ybi and @Rich_Blanco. Pro tools is the most un-musical program to make beats in. Midi has always been horrible until the last few versions. Hats off for being able to work it to make something half way decent in it.

+Scott J I had that fucking keyboard. Was a piece of shit. The first one I got was defective. They replaced it right away. Then 3 years later the pitch bend wheel died. No parts available. I haven't had good luck with M-Audio products at all. I have a 25 key Axiom and the USB connector has a bad connection. Had their DJ software. They abandoned it. It's like no type of longevity at all with their shit.
