Do you ever get flashing? It seems im using more time making sure there are gaps on both sides with my 4 inch blade and then measuring to make sure its straight. Watching this inspires me to try it out.
Hey where I'm from we let the setting coat fully dry before feather out. Have you had any issues with not letting it dry first. I would love to not wait for the set coat to dry as long as it doesn't compromise the finish
So do you always put a second cover coat over 'No Coat'? I assume its designed not to show if you just embed it in mud and thats all??? Or does it just need the embedding mud and one more pass over the top?
Do you use the green or blue lid mud to tape that in? I've got three 40' off angles I just order that stuff for. I've been out of taping for 20 years. I figure I'll tape it in with green and coat with blue mud. I've seen video where I can use a small box on that stuff?
@@austinbarton5219 Just used no coat for the first time. Damn that's a great product. Crisp clean angle. Going to try a 7" box on it today. Thanks for the info. You do good work.
You applied tape and finish coated same time..... man.... i would never ever do that. Your glue is shrinking with the topcoat drying. Used same mud too?

Great work man, love the background radio too, really feels like a job site :)

Metal Outside corner?
Yes in our environment were they build on pillings its most durable we can get even though trim tex plastic is better we can't get it out here 😢
@@austinbarton5219 i’m trying to learn the difference in benefits of the trim Tex magic corner bead versus the no coat that a lot of people praise.

Sweet!
sanded and done or needs more compound?
For texture its fine hints the name nocoat. I never coat the inside 3/8 of it i cut it like a flat!! But for smooth one more coat
Good job
Good instructions, but that cheap radio has to go. 😜
I had to leave a chunk of 2x4 in your path for that lame music
Maybe turn first your radio off. Then you record your video.
