- An impressionistic, watercolor, art gallery of lead singer and guitarist, Elijah Blue Allman, from a child to adult life; reminiscent of an Andy Warhol-esque style.
The significance of repeating certain images is to instill the value of enjoying life to the fullest and stopping to smell the roses--or in some cases, daisies.
A display of true unusual dedication in today's music world, this band took the unprecedented step of actually making personal phone calls to their fans termed "Legions," during their Tour.
In addition to meeting countless fans and loyal supporters for hours for autographs, poster and CD signings, and posing for photos.
The lead singer and lead guitarist is Elijah Blue Allman, stage name P. Exeter Blue I, for the rock band Deadsy which consists of Alec Pure on drums, Dr. Nner on synthesizer, Carlton Megalodon on Z-tar, and Jens Funke on bass. Elijah, who recently embarked on a promising solo career, is deserving of much praise for being born to celebrities CHER and Gregg Allman but not letting that status keep him from being considerate, responsible, personable, and conscientious.
He has overcome many obstacles, including people who credited his success merely due to his background, creating this band on his own, with a very determined, unselfish work ethic and spirit.
Before his band DEADSY was born, I saw him, at age 14, play with CHER in Salem, Oregon. It poured down rain the entire time, but he never stopped once or even flinched or looked unhappy.

Deserving of his recent success.

About the les-paul-looking, guitars that Elijah uses with the big round knobs, he had them custom made by Stephen McSwain. He said he wanted them to have a "toy-like" appearance. Go to the McSwain Guitars website for more info.

Somewhere, DEADSY's version is listed under both names. Maybe I saw it in Wikipedia(??). I checked the soundtrack for "Winter Passing," and you are correct in that "My Only Friend," is listed.

The band is disbanned currently but most of them are still doing music and lots of us are hoping for a new release. Elijah Blue & The Trapezoids have a few songs up here on UA-cam.
Perhaps there will be a CD release with this and some Rare Recordings & Elijah's solos. It would be really COOL for us to have Strength of Mind, Crimson & Clover w/ CHER & Elijah, Avalon. Things like My Only Friend (Lady Day)Replicas released commercially for all to enjoy! MANY COOL things Elijah has done & DEADSY has done!

If you search UA-cam for DEADSY @ Family Values 06 and some just posted a lot about them: "The white guitar he plays is a custom made Z-Tar.. the lower end models run about $2200... if you want synth guitar sounds.. think about buying a roland ready strat or roland G-707 if you can find one. have one and love it, but you will also need the controller & both are off market, made in 1983. You can buy the newer roland synth pickup and controller for under $1000 and make any guitar a synth guitar"
I SO agree! It would have been nice if we had received the signed lyric booklets we were supposed to get with the Phantasmagore CDs but the label never got them out I guess. Maybe they will put out a CD with some of the
favorite unreleased tracks like Avalon, Strength of Mind, & like Carrying Over acoustic, stuff like that. I wish Crimson & Clover would be on it!
Z-tars have nearly no lag that you can notice and many different options so it's hard to copy. New models have a joystick-like, knob right near your palm for a whammy bar & they come in three different shapes.
Have you heard his solos and his duet Crimson & Clover? And his DEADSY CD Phantasmagore? His low baritone voice is &$^%^# AMAAAZING!!!

I always assumed Orgy sounded similar because Jay Gordon was in Deadsy before he branched off to create Orgy...

Yes, many artists are doing it on their own and Elijah always been one who has taken great pride in this. Please be patient. The first 2 commercial CDs took some time to be produced.
