- As the murder trial for Chad Daybell continues, FOX 10 Investigator Justin Lum spoke with the aunt of Daybell's first wife for her thought on the case. Daybell is accused of killing his first wife, Tammy, along with Joshua 'JJ' Vallow and Tylee Ryan. The two were children of the so-called 'Doomsday Mom' Lori Vallow, and they once lived in the Phoenix area.

Tammy deserved more in life. A sad ending to have. To have children that will not stand up for justice for you and choose to protect your murderer.

I watched hidden crime where they interviewed the sister-in-law of chad day bell-keep in mind I’m not defending-but the kids lack of respect for their mother makes sense. Chad and his brother were extremely disrespectful towards their mother. I wouldn’t be surprised if that generational abuse continued into his children. This sister in law alleged that Chad was the worst of all the brothers towards his mother. So. The only thing I can hope is that Tammy had a fulfilling life before Chad.
It’s sad that she raised them but this is what she gets in return. It blew my mind when the daughter hugged him & told him she loves him so much in the back of the police car while 2 kids were buried in his back yard.

I wonder if he had them conned into the cult they set up with him and Lori as the leaders. I would be worried being a spouse or family member of any of them.
They grew up in a super patriarchal religion. I am sure those doubts and thoughts are bubbling up, because they know both their parents, and under it all, they must know, even if they are pushing away those thoughts. Chad is selfishly torturing his kids in this way. Hopefully, they can be brave enough to face and accept the truth.

Heather Daybell went into detail in an interview with Hidden True Crime. She tried to get church leadership to address his dangerous ideas and how they were influencing a growing group and was shut down.

It’s only furthering and continuing his manipulation and delusions of power as well as his reach to put the “children “-my understanding is that they’re adults? Still, putting them through this secondary trauma, re-traumatized all around. The sooner they get away from him the better. If anything should be clear to us it’s that member of the LDS church truly believe what they’re told. So, to an extent, it’s played out in victim blaming with Tammy and the kids. I do agree with you to an extent bc of this. Kevin Franke-kinda same-ppl are after his head on a stake as well. I do think these are sheltered folks who treat certain family members and certainly the church as above LE and above public opinion or popular opinion. We cannot believe that they can’t think for themselves but we haven’t lived their lives. 😢 compassion is the way to go

It’s hard to not judge his kids as big, dumb, dull, can’t think for themselves, duds like their dad. The fact that they are siding with him is absolute betrayal of their mother, IMO. Her heart must be broken.
I just found out that in the little Rexburg Idaho area. They actually have a coroner that is a appointed position and works out of the hospital. But if there is to be an autopsy, a body Hass to be transferred four hours away. So when Tammy died, it was probably easy to say Natural causes because of it being such a small community and nobody had found the kids yet. Kids were already buried. He didn’t marry Lory for 11 days till after her death so the fact that he had her buried so quickly out of state to Utah, he couldn’t undo the initial death. But with everything that’s come out, they absolutely exhumed the body and did get it to her to a proper autopsy. The whole paintball gun thing 10 days before her death that was called Alex Cox and his assault rifle looked like a paintball gun but he is not a really good hitman. He missed when he shot at Brandon and Arizona and the gun jammed with Tammy. The one thing I do remember From that story with Tammy Wash she posted it on Facebook to warn everybody that this is just happened, but when the gun jammed and she screamed for her husband to help, we now know, he knew it was going down. When the gun jammed they said, the masked gunman actually ran onto their property into the backyard. There was no place to go because, it’s a wide open area, but he’d already knew the landscape of the backyard from burying the kids.
Asphyxiation in not the same as strangulation. The bruising is on her chest and arms. She could have been smothered. Or Possibly someone sat on her chest making impossible to inhale. The bruising are her arms indicates that someone held her arms down. It certainly wasn't a quick death. And Chad certainly didnt sleep through this death which he frequently spoke of..

When I compare who Tammy was to who Lori was and still is, it's clear that Chad was the dark being all along. When he met Lori he met his evil match. He thought he would get away with killing Tammy the way Lori got away with killing Charles, and they would live wickedly ever after. The scary part is that they'd have gotten away with it, and who knows how many others, if they hadn't murdered those poor children.

Tammy was such a beautiful warm and loving human being, that deserved better than Chad the chump. Then she had Tylee with her third husband, Joseph Ryan, who was believed to have died of a heart attack until recently. Next, she conspired with her brother Alex Cox to kill her fourth husband, Charles Vallow. After his death, she married her fifth husband, Chad Daybell, whose wife, Tammy Daybell, was murdered two weeks prior ("Allegedly") by Chad.

Even if she was sick, I don’t believe it was that serious. I don’t go to the doctor every time I feel something. Also, when you are getting older, your skin gets dry. Prior was saying Tammy used oils on her skin. That is the most common thing to help. I feel bad for the kids, but since they are adults, maybe it is time for them to walk it with their own legs. In other words, getting some understand of the world outside church walls. One of the girls did not know what an exhumation is. This is horrible. They live int the rural Idaho, but still very strange not read any book than your bible and Mormon book.

I’ve been wondering why Chad’s kids betray their mom while defend their murderer father. The only reason I could think of is they’re thankful to their dad. Chad rated Laurie’s kids dark so they were murdered. So, these nut cases are so grateful to their dad cuz he spares their lives by not rating them dark. Or they’re crazy enough to really believe their dad is a prophet so they need to follow his lead.
It’s refreshing to see an interviewer who gives time and space for the interviewee to speak. Vicky really gave us a sense of who her niece was, it’s so important to give victims a voice and remind us of how it must have felt for Tammy to be fatally attacked in what should be the safest place in the world - your own bed.

Tammy was a natural beauty, with not a wrinkle on her skin, wore little makup and none was needed. Placing them side by side, Lori's face disintegrated into a mass of wrinkles and bulges from lack of botox and fillers at trial. Tammy was the support of the family, ran his business and it was not lost on me that when Alex Cox came to her house with a rifle and black ski mask, she was coming home from a women's meeting with a week full of prepared meals in her car so that, in addition to working full time, running his business, lazy Chad would not have to cook. She did everything and Chad took advantage. Lori was very manipulative and when the two of them met it was a folie a duex. If Chad had not met Lori none of this would ever have happened. It looks like Lori was a murderer even before meeting Chad, with Alex as the family hit man. Joe Ryan was undoubtedly murdered. Lori would have murdered Charles for his life insurance with or without Chad (because Alex would have done it for her). She was having problems in her marriage and she wanted Charles' money, not a divorce. I believe Lori was the catalyst, but Chad used his religious cult teachings as an excuse to commit murder. For Lori, only an insurance policy or Social Security payments was a necessary motive. Chad had to justify the murders. So I guess Chad had a little bit more of a conscience in that he had to invent an excuse in order to justify his killings.
Yes and I kept thinking what it was like for Chad with anorexic Lori not cooking or eating. He was used to good food from Tammy.

I don’t know the whole family dynamic/situation so I’m not saying that there aren’t others there for her because I know that pretty much the whole world is there for Tammy, JJ, Tylee, and Charles. The amount of tears that have been shed around the world, regarding this case, and all of the victims would fill an ocean. That is including the surviving victims. It’s time to get these monsters put away for good, and for the loved ones of the victims to have a chance to live the rest of their lives without looming trials. IMO Pryor's tactic is to purposefully confuse the jury. He's aiming for a juror who has trouble keeping things straight in the hope just one of them will be unable to convict. His closing will focus on if they have questions, or uncertainties then they can not convict.

I really don't understand how they would evaluate such a young woman to die a natural death without any examination - when we know she had bruses on the chest and arms and maybe the legs as well. Chad Daybell is a big man, but if they were two people to do it, they could have hold her down and used a pillow or plastic on the face to prevent her from breathing? My God, thinking about Tammy's thoughts, feelings and fears the last minuts of her life makes me SO sad. Justice for Tammy❤

Lori could have "NEVER" fit into Tammy's shoes! Tammy was a natural beauty inside and out.My theory in all of this is that before Chad Daybell came along ...Lori had planted the seed in her heart about murdering Charles and that murderous seed grew full bloom and viseversa . Chad had told Julie Rowe about his "vision" on Tammy dying young way before he and Lori started thier affair.
Chad with his religious ideologies with rating people light and dark swinging his owl necklace back and forth deeming them all zombies sealed thier victims fate.Alex Cox who had already been struggling with his faith (excommunication) was an easy target for Lori and Chad to reel in and use him as thier hitman.I believe that Alex Cox did murder them all with Loris help except for the destruction of Tylees body that was all Chad Daybell.The same with Tammy because Alex's phone didn't ping on the day she was killed although he could've turned his phone off.But I don't see Alex Cox at the Daybell residence on the late night early morning that Tammy was killed.Regaeless of my theory what matters is that Rob Wood and the others continue to deliver strong examinations of all the witnesses.

Tammy seemed like an amazingly sweet and supportive woman and one of those women that gets even more beautiful with age. He was a VERY lucky man. Lori Vallow, on the other hand, was developing more of a “ridden hard and put away wet” look - a leather face after decades of vanity.

Tammy was taking dance classes. She was training to compete in a marathon. She was HEALTHY. The nonsense her adult children are trying to spin by saying she was ill is despicable. It is possible Chad had been slowly poisoning her in the weeks prior to her final murder which might account for their belief she was 'ill'. But she was NOT naturally sick!

I think Prior is trying to confuse, deflect and direct the jurors attention away from the irrefutable evidence that matters. His objective as he questioned Detective Hermosillo was so transparent. He was using that as an opportunity to plant ideas in the jurors minds which is why he would ask leading questions and then end it with “ Right?” … I actually became so upset by his antics that I stopped watching.
Even if Prior’s defense is that Daybell was manipulated by a seductive siren, that doesn’t excuse him from experiencing the consequences of his actions. And in my opinion, his actions include murder.
The worst part of this entire crime is that the families of these victims will suffer for years to come as they are forced to relive these crimes with each court appearance as these criminals pursue appeals.
I think it is more appropriate to be blank without reacting than act like Lori. Lori thinks she's Scarlett O'Hara at the picnic. Miss fake congeniality. Tammy was a sweet humble woman, far better.
I wonder if he had life insurance policies on his kids. Maybe the prosecution can look into that to convince them of what a parasite he is with his affair lady who is a serial user of life insurance to further herself.
I can't wait for the jury to hear about Chad's line to sleep with other women. He wasn't this perfect Mormon husband. Hopefully the State brings in her dance & clogging instructors. She couldn't have done clogging or zumba if she was that sick.

She had to have a feeling that something was not right. I am sure she was worried and scared.
