MICRO JIGGING TINY ASSIST HOOK FOR 10G JIGS | EXPLORING NEW WATER
The best way to find what is to catch in almost any given body of water is to target the smaller fish - this is one of the things I do when I go somewhere unfamiliar and want to know what is to catch.
A small jig tied with one assist hook to minimize snags is often what I employ for this technique. A small fluttering fast jig or a small slow jig is always at the top of my pick. Rigged with one hook, either with or without flash will catch me just about anything that will eat a minnow. The use of a small jig together with a single assist hook makes exploring new areas easier and much more efficient.
