Hi Lee, I love these secret little creeks. You are always ready for a surprise. In the end I couldn't believe my eyes what I saw in the pan. Just fantastic. Congratulations on the great day. 🤠🇩🇪👍
Thank you! If you are interested in doing a fairly lengthy prospecting hike before the snakes get out, please email me your contact info. I should have gotten it when I met you at the group dig since you are just a stone's throw away. My email is listed on my channel page.
Too cool Keith! She's a great crew leader and I'm glad to see her doing so well on the program. I hope she keeps avoiding the rocks rolling down in the earthquakes. It's definitely a hazardous place to be dredging.
Man yeah that’s some choonky gold for sure! Trying to get a GoPro and start doing UA-cam myself. I’ve got a pretty good spot finding some good gold here. Will came down and hit it with us this past weekend. He said he showed you the shirt I made. Let me know when your ready for one 🤣
I did not make it out for my usual gold fix but I know Jon saw Will on Saturday so I will ask him about it. I like your channel name. There's no where to go except up! 👍
Heard the cahdunk when that picker hit his pan. Sad thing is if he brought his cell he doesn't need to remember how to get there. Not to shabby for how long you guys were there.
Glad you guys had a good day. I expect if we combined my Thursday take with what you pulled today, you’d be pretty close to two grams. Not a bad result. You have thrown a wrench in my theory though. I was convinced the source was coming from a quartz vein on the right as you come up the creek. Today you were much further up the creek. Bummer! Must mean there are two sources. 😱🤭
Yes, Jon's rough picker had not travelled far but some of the smaller pieces had travelled far enough to be worn smooth. I would be curious to know if they came from upstream or slowly worked their way down the mountain sides 🤔
Confident that the sources were quartz veins formed when the Piedmont was a volcanic region. Freeze/thaws released the gold particles. Rain/floods washed it down into the valleys. I know a guy, also in Catawba County, that traced the gold back to the source. He found a kimberlite pipe that still had gold in quartz. I did an assay for him when I was at UNC. He has since passed away. His secret location is not a great distance away from where you played on Saturday. Will we ever find a kimberlite pipe…not likely! As long as we find enough to keep the fever going, all is well.
Lee, Looks like a great video. Could you please maybe try to speak a little louder. I know you're in the woods and Try to be quiet but some people even have a harder time listening. Thank you
I know, it's weird because I can listen with earphones on my computer and hear fine but when I watch it on TV I have to crank the volume way up to hear it good. I don't know if it's my phone or the film editor I use. Sorry for volume issue.
I'll try to get something put together for you to fall asleep to. Jon is threatening to go rogue and declare himself a free agent. If RAW TV picks up his contract, I'm screwed. 🤦🏻♂️
We could go online and buy processed gold for a lot less trouble but this gold is all natural and has no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. It is a natural aphrodisiac and is a known cure for poverty. Ha ha, no, it's not much and I would love to see how this gets translated. If you laughed, give me a thumbs up and keep the middle one in a resting position.

Thanks Peter! It's nice to know that you do not have to metal detect or dredge to get decent sized pieces of gold.
@@LeeHendrixGold Metal detectors would only provide a plethora of junk here. And gold in the micro range, the technology hasn't got that far yet
Nice quiet spot there. I'm hopin to hit Uwharrie in April. Not sure where I'll start but hopefully I'll get a few colors. Thanks for sharing.
I hope to get back to Uwharrie again soon. Smaller gold there but usually not such a struggle to consistently get a good weigh.
Dadgum, that's some big gold.
Thanks for taking us along ⛏🪨🇺🇲
Yes, I figure there's about a 1 in 5 chance of digging up a picker there but Jon defied all odds and rooted up a nugget on his first visit 😲
Great video Lee, nice young looking gold.

Excellent 👏🏻 chunky little pieces for sure! Great gold in the south, we just have to search harder right? Get out there again!
I just found the biggest piece of gold so far today and it was hair shy of a gram. A real month maker!
Great video Lee and great haul.
Thanks S.D.I. 🙂
It looks a lot like our land in NH.. I hope to find some chunkier stuff like that!! Im still watching!

Looking like you have a good spot, I know Kayla Johnson she knows her rocks too!

Great video Lee.
Thanks CGG 🙂

wow one heck of a good day
Hello Ray! I saw your last video where you were negotiating. Was that for a new expedition to Greenland?
Heard the cahdunk when that picker hit his pan. Sad thing is if he brought his cell he doesn't need to remember how to get there. Not to shabby for how long you guys were there.
Heck, I can still get turned around walking back to the car if I don't go the same way back every time.
Where's the secret spot? General location?
It's within a 90 minute drive from Winston-Salem 🤠

Quit your day job we need more Lee Hendrix on the gold videos🤣😂👍

Lol its like a favorite fishing spot dont tell nobody where you found it. Because the next day 100 people will beat you there !
Mum's the word 🙊 🎯 🤣
Feast or famine. I get excited about a poker. That there was a nugget
It was a nice find and Jon worked hard to find it

快去
Yes, we go very quickly so as not to get caught with pants down.
真的耶?
If you are asking if the video is real, it is. I know because I was there 😁
