We did ittttttt!
Two and a half years after our first collab, which I still consider to be the peak of my editing career on youtube, Scurvied and I have finally finished another one! Took long enough. Not for lack of trying…I think we started at least three other ones in the middle there and just never finished, heh.
Also not the fandom I thought we’d end up at years later, but I am not upset about it at all. ;)
BECAUSE IT LOOKS AWESOME and the classic POTC movies are amazing. When I saw the fifth one, I was super disappointed and just yearning for the magic of these first three, all of which I think are great. And somehow Ash and I both got nostalgic about them, and she rewatched them, and we just…did the thing!

Amazing!!! And yes, I totally agree with you, the first three movies of potc are waaay better than potc 4 and 5, the best one being the third one (at world's end) in my opinion. I was actually very disappointed with potc 5 and well, potc 4 was good, but not THAT good... I mean, c'mon, at world's end just had so many things going on, so many twists... The final fight between the Black Pearl and the Flying Dutchman still gives me chills everytime I watch it xD Anyway, I love this video, it brings back so many memories and nostalgia
I agree! I loved Pirates of the Caribbean 3! It was very good! I love The first 3 movies the most. I didn’t like Potc 5 all that much. there were some plot holes, and it just wasn’t that good. I think the best thing about it was the happy ending Will and Elizabeth got. After so many years, I think they deserved it. But even with that scene, there are two plot holes I can think of off the top of my head. I didn’t like Potc On Stranger Tides either. I didn’t like Angelica’s character, and I hated how they put Jack with her. In my eyes, I see him as a lone wolf. Anyway, sorry for this long (and late!) comment. I just don’t see a lot of people with my same opinion. Thanks for your time!

*Cries* because I've loved this song ever since Anna used it in her shuffle video & because omg this is perfect, for every sparrow lyric that showed jack, for showing the pirate brand for "never be bought and sold" for every single Will + Elizabeth moment.... I'm in love

I just came back from a trip to Disneyland and Fantasmic and the ride gave me ALL THE POTC FEELS, it had been a while since I watched the original trilogy for the last time and had a maraton as soon as I got back home, I forgot how much I loved them and how good they are! Then I searched for videos and this came up! What a pleasant surprise, it's so good! Congratulations, you gave me all the feels!

DannyPhantomSG1 I think it was a Peter Pan section before the change but really it was the best part of the show!!!!! It was almost the real thing, it was beyond of what I could ever dream of

Okay so I found myself watching this again and I just realized that I never commented on it?? wtf? ummm okay so i love this, clearly, given how many times i've found myself gravitating back to it. i'm so happy with how easy this was for us to finish for ONCE with all the ones we'd started and never finished and i love how it was to potc of all things? your sparrow parts still have me in hysterics (the one where he falls off the cliff especially) with how literal they are. my favourite part of yours is the one where you used elizabeth's speech, it's so goooood. it's such a privilege to be able to collaborate with you; your constant persistence to edit even after all these years inspires me like no other. i hope we're able to do it again and hopefully it won't take another 2 and a half years lol.

Thank the heavens youtube recommended this video to me. I love it so much! Your beat matching was beyond splendid and it never ocurred to me how well this song would go with this fandom. Real amazing you two, wonderfully done, going straight to my playlist. Also, I was in a PotC mood too when I saw the last film, was disappointed too :( I didn't really know how much of a treasure the first 3 films were until more movies were released and they didn't move me at all. Starting with Elizabeth, hell she'll be hard to replace, none of the new female leads were of my liking (specially the last one with Kaya Scodelario whose name I obvsly don't remember; I almost choked by the impression of how horrible that character was developed xD)

But why didn't you like the 5th movie? :( I actually found it pretty good! Well actually I like it more than the 4th one, but ofc not as much as the first 3, but non the less I liked it! :o
I just thought it was disappointing with how little Will and Elizabeth were in it, and Jack really....didn't contribute anything except comedy. I don't know. I never saw the fourth one, so I could only compare the 5th to the first three, and I feel those first three are far superior to it. :'3 but thanks!
Oh haha, yeah thats true! XD I actually feel the same way about Jack! In the first 3 Movies it always looked like his crazy planes were all... well... planed! And in the 5th movie it's like EVERYTHING is just coincident! And that's basically what I disliked the most about the movie! But I loved how Elizabeth was there at the end! That was basically enough for me, tbh^^
