Hello my friend,I've also had trouble twice now with the celestial line , hopefully 3rd time is the charm .Ross I personally love the bung in the winter.it just works. When my fingers are freezing the bung is a no brainer. Great sport my friend 💯.well in on the fish and great advice on the bung .it's the future

@Caithnessflyfisher I think so Ross first line cracked,they gave me a replacement but that line ripped . There sending me a new line ,and that's great but I'm looking at other floaters that can take a rumbungshus fish lol 😂😂.it does cast well thou .and any new company will take a while to get it perfect. Your a good man Ross and a very good fisherman,hence the support buddy

Pay your money and fish the way you want to ,i love naturals and always start with them,but will strip lures and will use the bung later on as im getting on a bit,so its nice to have a rest .but I've had some great days on the bung, and some days, that's all that works . It's not how we fish, just as long as we are fishing
@@Caithnessflyfisher I don’t personally get the hatred. I love coarse fishing though so watching a float go under is enjoyable to me whatever the species 😂
Hi. I will watch your vlog when I get Internet back after recent storm . Just got lecky back. Still no Internet. Fibre cable down by huge fallen tree. Using what little data I have on phone network. Will be while since the whole cable will have to be replaced and pole/s.

I love the bung it’s so effective however I use as a last resort, I force myself to try the more traditional methods first. Just a personal thing don’t judge others!
@@imchrisme5514 it's great to have a couple rods out with you.. That way you can chop and change during the session to see what's working.. I'll normally give myself the first hour on the bung, see if it working throughout the fishery then make a change if not
Problem with fly fishing is people love to have an opinion. The sport can’t grow when grown men turn around to someone and go that’s not real fishing. End of the day if people are out fishing and using a legal method who cares do your own thing. It’s an internationally legal method that I love to fish, like everything it has its day like most things. Good video mate.

See so many complaining about fishing the bung. The fact that they are fishing a lake made with a digger and catching fish that arrived on a truck is totaly lost on them. They like to fish natual patterns in the least natural place around 😂
😂 😂 😂 Good point... And.. Some of the nay sayers will never dream of changing their methods in order to become better anglers.. They'll just stick to what they know and slog that method to death whilst the rest of us are catching more than them because we're willing to adapt etc.. 👍
@@Caithnessflyfisher see it all the time. Standing there pulling a cats whisker like a mad man for 6 hours with no results. Im happy using any method that puts fish in the net as im there for that reason. Id rather be swinging spiders for brownies on the river any day but needs must in the closed season.

Until then, the rest of us will use that method (along with other methods) so long as its legal on the venues we fish...Lets not forget the good old dry dropper method... That too could be scrutinised as it's a form of bung fishing that certainly out fishes others on its day as well.. Myself and others will keep utilising it for the foreseeable. I think its here to stay 👍

You'll be able to fish a couple of buzzers under them or a single weighted buzzer no bother at all.. They'll even suspend an egg fly

Ban the bung as it's NOT fly fishing. If you want to use a float go to the bait pond.
