My Calc professor is having us perform all calculations by hand (to understand why these are input) but it’s a 7 week course and frankly it’s impossible. I followed all of the steps to the t and every time I hit "Calculate" my calculator gives me the "Error:Domain" screen. Maybe I'm missing something?

I realize it's to late for my comment to help you, but in case it helps anyone else you need to make sure the values are all integers. No decimals or fractions in the matrix, or itll get freaked out
Hope you are not using t distribution, this is chi square, and if it freaks out is because ur L1 and L2 or data frequency are empty, hence the error!!!!
@@Xhoro20 Thank you lol I was getting the same thing. It sucks because if they have to be integers, that would require rounding, which seems like it'd throw the X^2 value off. This is especially damaging if the exam calls for the individual to do a short answer problem. Multiple choice may be doable as the values could line up approximately, but short answer means you're screwed because the X^2 would be further off target.
You have your O and E in the wrong columns.

We tend to use LaTeX* for much of our work, but I think in this case it might have been a Word or Google doc using the "equation" mode.
*LaTeX has historically been used for a large number of textbooks. It is a free, open-source software. In our experience, it's a bit more pleasant to use on a Mac (search "MacTeX") with TeXShop as the interface than the experience on a Windows computer.

ti83 doesn’t even have a matrix button
Hit the 2nd button, and then 3 buttons below the 2nd button. MATRX is in yellow above that key -- when you hit "2nd", it gives you access to the yellow options on each key for the next key press.
