Love the channel Charlie I do miss the longer videos these seem to short iam sure iam not the only one. But that's your decision to do these short vids and happy with whatever you put up. 👍👍👍
It's all about UA-cam setting algorithms and by conformity comes higher presentation of the channel. But Charlie does do longer videos when there is more to show
Yes as Daniel said. The algorithm shows that people only really watch 8 to 10 minutes even if the vids are 20 mins long. So instead of 2 20 min vids I try to do 4 10 mins instead. All of the old footage stays on so full builds can be watched in one sitting. It's just the up to date ones that will be a little annoying as they are split over 4 days.
The answer is in the vids. The ecu had stopped recognising the key. It needed either a new key set and chipped to the bike or the ecu sent of to get the immobiliser removed. I did that option and sent it of
I think it’s because your vidios are getting smaller and smaller and less we just getting bits sorry to say but you used to do well but now videos not long enough to make sense please don’t think bad but long good videos are better if you look back you will see last few months time has gone really down😞and like all we love what you do but now you’ve changed from little short stuff we are all waiting for you to make it all good cuss you can we all are waiting for that . It's lose lose sadly. Stats show that people aren't watching more then 8 to 10 mins and that effects the algorithm. UA-cam themselves encourage me to only do vids for as long as people are watching which currently is 8 to 10 mins. If enough people engaged with the channel and thumbed up or even down then the stats would change. But currently it's 8 to 10 mins. Again it's can't win if you do and can't win if you don't.
@@motorcyclerescuerme myself watch the whole thing and prefer the long videos also but it's your channel and I understand why you say that. Couldn't you do both? Upload short videos and miss a few things out then once bike is completed or sold Upload the full video then it's best of both worlds
That's possibly an option. I guess the biggest issue is that I edit out alot of the boring stuff. No one wants to watch me taking 3 screws out of a panel for 3 or 4 mins, so I cut and speed up. For all the people asking for longer vids there are people moaning about lack of content within the vid, hence why I heavily edit. I think my next step will be to try 12 to 15min vids starting from today's one but I think that's a great idea aswell. I could put a more full version up once the bike and filming is completed. I'll look into it.

But it's your channel and what you do is up to you and I support it either way. I'm only interested in gileras and thats how I found you yet I still watch every upload and the older videos too. But people are too moany and need to wind their necks in talking about content, start their own channel if they think they can do better or button it and watch!
