It's Moore paradoxicality of epistemic humility at the heart of it. That's what drives you to credal uniqueness at the point of decision. Avoid that, avoid the dilemma. I have argued that inductive risk tolerance is variable between rational individuals. I've considered whether receptiveness to spiritual experience is too. I do think though that there's a core of public reason that everyone in a democracy has to be accountable to. I was thinking today that a better version of positivist project would be looking for the boundary of publicly accountable reasoning rather than meaningfulness.
