- In this video I feature 10 thrifted and upcycled DIY projects. I am located in northern Alabama and I am hosting this Thrift Flip Road Trip Challenge along with my friends Trish and Kay over at The Crafting Cousins. There will be a playlist below of many other UA-cam creators with lots of videos of thrifted and upcycled DIY project pieces from all over the country!
All of these projects in my video will fit perfectly in a shabby French country farmhouse style home! Many of the supplies to make these fun projects can be purchased from a thrift store or resourcing things from around your home. I show how you can take simple and inexpensive supplies and turn them into fun and easy decor for your home! Projects in today’s video include:
Vintage inspired wood brush, candelabra, candlestick, wood candle holder, scrap wood bunny sign, scrap wood transfer sign, foam craft bunnies, shabby chic metal box, chopstick bow and shabby chic birdhouse. We all love to take items from the thrift store, yardsales, from our homes and even from the trash and give them new life. All the items I feature in this video can be updated and refreshed for a new life just by adding some new paint and embellishments. I show many projects creating budget friendly pieces you can use in your home for Spring or any occasion. Decorating your home does not have to cost a lot of money and it's also fun to transform items to fit into your home decor style. Hi Theresa! Yes I made that board with the facing bunnies, that was from your video, and the bunny was from a link you left in it, using all your techniques!! That was just printed on paper, and through my phone, my daughter showed me how to reverse the images so I could get two facing bunnies. Very nice. That paint blade from IOD works really well on rough wood, I don't think I've seen it used that way before. The decoupage bunnies and birdhouse were my favorites. ❤
